Hello all, I have been playing fantasy since 2007 and 40k since 2008, although I haven't played many games as I was away from the people I knew who played for three years. My main 40k army, eldar, needs a lot of work as I have improved my painting skills and the models I have painted in the past weeks stand out from those I painted when I first painted some models. So far I have two models which are photographed and another which is waiting to be photographed. The colour scheme I am using is my own and I am working on a backstory for the craftworld. I want to improve my painting skills so I will be posting models when they are completed for advice, the only advice the people in the local GW could give was water down your paint, highlight the metal and maybe varnish the gems as well as years of practice.
The first model is my Wave Serpent, quite a simple scheme but one I think is rather effective. This is a repaint to a slightly different scheme than I originally used but looks at least 100 times better than the original design.
The second modelis my Howling Banshee Exarch, again I think the scheme is effective.
Any feedback is welcomed![]()
