The problem with audiobooks is, I just don't like them, the ones I have tried have always come across as over the top, not necessarily the storyline, but in several, but especially with "Thunder from Fenris" the voice acting/reading is just so hammy and over the top that it spoils it, that and nothing beats reading something.

I suppose my list would go something like this:
Kyril Sindermann/Mersadie Oliton/Euphrati Keeler: For me, these guys represent the ideals and the nobility of the Great Crusade. Their deaths, done properly, could add real power and emphasis to the destruction of the Imperium.
Any and all Istvaan III loyalists: Enough has been said regarding why these guys should be dead.
Nathaniel Garro: I cannot think of a character that I dislike more in the Horus Hersy series. If he should die, let it be someone like Typhon, Abaddon or Argel Tal that does the deed.
With regards,
Dan.
I have only one character who I want dead. Erebus. I hate that manipulative snake. The more books I read with him, may they be pre/post heresy, the more I hate him.
Been thinking to make a word bearer army and then play them purely, just to watch them die. Of course, leading them would be Erebus...
The Emperor works in mysterious ways...
I'd like Garro to snuff it as well, actually. I find his quest to zip about the galaxy hoovering up the Grey Dozen really boring. And kind of stupid. And I think making these special Garro adjunct audios was a poor overall narrative move. Garro just rocking up in Know No Fear to get Rubio would've been way cooler. The book does such a good job creating the scale of how up brown creek the Smurfs are, Garro arriving to rescue one guy would've been more powerful in that text and context, instead of the dis-associative effect of the audio. And then there's the handling of Loken's return...awkward anti-climax much? Garro's own character development's nosedived in the audios as well. To get more in-universe, killing him would be good as it would be grimdark; Garro is basically the first Astartes to develop the 40K version of faith in the Emperor as a Divine force for Good (well, in opposition to Evil at any rate), so someone really nasty and chaotic wasting him tragically would be awesome. And I don't mean tragically as in full-emotion, I mean tragic as in he goes out in a wasted way; he dies for nothing.
That's kinda why he should get singled out. He's the point-man. Rubio and Varren have no particularly unique thematic relevance yet, and what Qruze has isn't as suitable; you kind of expect someone with his role to die sooner-or-later. And as for Loken...well, by most narrative logic he should've stayed dead, but seeing as he's come back as essentially a different character, that's ok. There's a way to go for him yet before wishing for his head.
I like Erebus. Gotta love the bad guy. Esp as he's now a bit out of his depth. Loved the bit in Nemesis where Horus tells him what's what.

Hmm.
Probably most eager to see the death of whoever is chosen to be the myriad of Chaos champions that try to get into the Imperial Palace when Sigismund is placed in charge of holding the doorMan, that's gotta be good.

I really, REALLY want to see Erebus die. I know he doesn't, so I'd at least like to see him get a nice, solid, and embarrassing ass-kicking. He's got it coming to him.
Loken is a very annoying character from the start. I more or less wished him dead from page 3 of the first HH-book.
