Just finished reading this a few days ago. On the whole it was a really good read. I liked the way the skaven were portrayed as well as the underclasses of the Empire. The ending was a bit too much Resevoir Dogs for my taste, everyone basically wipes everyone else out and Thanquol ending up killing off half his own minions. The exceptions to this death-fest are of course Thanquol and Skrolk who can't die because they are both in-game characters (there is a suggestion that Skrolk dies in reality but you know this won't happen). That was the only downer for me. But aside from the mixed-ending I enjoyed the rest of it, particularly all the twists and turns in the plot.
