The blue is old school layers. Same with NMM gold. The cape was airbrush. I wanted a velvet look and have no clue how to get that look with anything other than an airbrush.Wow, the modeling and painting is awsome!

Some of the better more obviously 40k-inspired (and scaled!) Primarch I've seen and the paintjob is excellent.
My only minor gripe is that the hair seems a bit "ropey" but other than that, excellent work! I wouldn't buy the Curze for my own Night Lords (but then I've never seen a Curze I'm really happy with...) but I'd love to see what you have for a Rogal Dorn!
