    Wasteland 2 - Obsidian Potentially Co-Developing

I'm sure a lot of Fallout fans know about Wasteland, but for those that don't: Fallout is essentially the spiritual successor to Wasteland, which was pretty much the first full blown post-apocalyptic RPG.

Anyway, back to the news: http://www.computerandvideogames.com...p-wasteland-2/

This is fantastic news! An isometric post-apocalyptic RPG, potentially developed by the same minds behind Planescape: Torment? Yes please. And around the same time news of Baldur's Gate is abound - 2012 is full of surprises.
I am currently looking to shift a sizeable amount of Chaos Space Marine models, including Dark Vengeance Cultists/Chosen/Helbrute/Lord, Fantasy Chaos Knights, a Dark Apostle, Fantasy (Finecast) Chaos Lord, Warp Talons, Possessed and painted models with Forge World parts. Send me a message if you're interested!

Fallout Tactics was isometric. One of the reasons I actually got it was for the art as reference for my Orks.

Not familiar with Planescape: Torment so no idea about the devs but I'll take a look at any post apoc game. Huge Borderlands fan here.

It's an incredible game, one of the few from that era(along with several other Black Isle games, funnily enough ) that doesn't require any nostalgia at all to say so.

I'd love love love it if this kickstarter thing takes off and we can start seeing major development houses making the games they want to make and that we want them to make, rather than what Accountant-25566154 says will make seventeen pence more than any other option(hint; it's always "grey-brown near-future/historical military shooter", there's no accounting for taste). But I just can't see it happening. There's too much money in the traditional movie-industry release model that game publishers have enthusiastically embraced, and I suspect the major publishers are going to start refusing to work with devs who try this sort of thing; afterall, they might start dangerous trends like releasing games without punitive DRM systems

Commonly regarded as having the best story of any video game, Planescape is a must play for everyone. Many have even (seriously) described the experience as "life altering", because the game has made them look at things in a new way.

Obsidian also happens to be what's left of the guys who made Fallout/Fallout 2, so, this is pretty awesome.
