Yes I really want these guys myself for my Sanguinary Priests I was planning to build a unit from BA plastics, a slight change of plan now ...

The Termis look really good to, from the looks of it the CC weapons will be offered as an update kit. So You may well have to shell out on a squad of tactical Termis and then buy CC weapons. Only saw the Incineratorish h.flamer no assualt cannon for these guys or Cyclone so far.

Storm Eagle.

Saw a few lucky punters with these mutter mutter ...





No Dread carrying capability on the SE but does have front & rear assault ramps the rear one is far larger than the SR one. In fact in profile the shorter ventral fins quite suit the design IMO without the stupid dorsal turret of the SR the whole design looks sleeker and longer and indeed a single forward landing claw a la T/Hawk much better looking than the SR.

What i was getting at was in the future are they considering releasing it as an upgrade kit (like a lot of the eldar stuff which is available as both complete and upgrade)

Couldn't comment on other races' kits, but only the older eldar ones are available as upgrades. All the most recent ones such as the wraithseer, wasps, and warp hunter, have to be bought as a complete kit.

Hi, no made it back home as I only live about 45 mins drive away its a quick in and out for me. I'll pick up models next time I'm in Lenton. Spent far too much time in my recent life standing in FW event queues

Great pics by the way. Not from a Samsung Galaxy SII by any chance? Cause if so we were chatting briefly first thing extolling its virtues to various FW studio members in the studio hall before the obligatory crush

Phil, what does the back if the storm eagle look like? Any scope to add the tail from the raven?

Didn't get a pic of the rear underside Les, basically its like the SR around the rear ramp before the tail boom but wider. No winch/grab gear for the Dread. The rear tapers up in profile to join the trailing edge of the wings and there's probably only 5mm before the rear bulkhead hits the rear door top. To be honest its looks fine as is much better than I expected, the extended fuselage and rear set wing/engines makes this look more sleek so the need for a the big tail of the ST/TH isn't really needed, you could add a T-tail but I'd be loathed to try to add a tail boom, a shortened T tail possibly about 10 mm higher than the kit one might work, or perhaps a Landspeeder style 'spoiler' bettween the engine pods and lose the current central vertical mini tail.

Oh and according to the rules Codex SM/DA/BA can take this puppy

Bran Redmaw is low priority? Must be one of the more asked about kits I've seen on their fb. Shame as without a wulfen model to convert its another one where 3rd party kits come in.

Cheers man, that's not too bad in my book for a model which looks that good, is that big and comes with so many spare parts.

The rules are a little lacking in my opinion but I like the concept, if it was bumped to AV13 then things would be perfect.
