While I have my models done for the month the contents of my room is currently in boxes all over the house as my timber floors are being sanded and resealed over the next week. So this is technically a Joker but I should, hopefully, be posting double points next month anyway.

I keep slogging through my infantry until I make a decision about either painting my vehicles by hand or getting an airbrush .

Right, time for some comments and WIP.

misterboff - Good work as usual. I do like the slipt colour face on the nob. Must have been a pain to do, but the quality of the result makes it worth it.

Xazil - I always love a good dreadnought. Something about is just iconic of the game. A whole group of good dreadnoughts therefore makes me very happy.

djc - Beautiful work alround, especially the Ogryns. The Slaaneshi daemon is giving me the impression of a deadly ballerina.

perplexiti - Scary, space wolf terminators. Love em. The yellow is very nicely done, very solid even colour, which is hard to do.

punkfish - Amazing! Those commisars have got to be some of my favourite models in the entire tale so far. Just gorgeous.

razormasticator - The richness and depth of your greens are awesome. Just, simply awesome. I love these guys.

give_me_a_d - Its always good to see more daemons entering the world. The contrast between the pink and blue on those horrors is nice and the berserker looks suitably intimidating.

Zujara - Nice vets, very nice vets indeed. The miniatures are beautiful and your paint job does them justice.

    ON TO WIP!

So I was given a Basilisk by a friend and long time IG player when I decided to move from my daemons to IG. While he is a very, very good player (Current South Africa National Champion) this tank is old and not the greatest paint job. Of course, one does not look a gift basilisk in the earthshaker cannon - granted it wouldn't be a great idea to look done the barrel of any earthshaker cannon.

He'd given it just about every upgrade available short of the one I'd actually want my basilisk to use: camo netting. So I disassembled it, stripped it and put it back together. I used the camo net to hide damage from age and/or removing unwanted pieces... and then put some more camo netting where I thought it would look good. At this point its all black, I will begin the process of painting it tomorrow.

Some picks, starting with the before, then the deconstructed and stripped ending with rebuilt and primed. I forgot to take a picture of it before priming sadly.

Chaos Marines Project Log - Just a click away... you know you want to...

    Record as of new CSM Codex: 8 wins/ 2 losses/ 0 draws
    Record as of new Daemons Codex: 1 wins/ 1 losses/ 0 draws
    IG + Daemons Allies: 16 wins (6 tablings, 8 crushing victories, 2 1-VP scrapes)/ 0 losses/ 1 draw

    Sorry, but I'm out.

Despite my best intentions and me saying otherwise last month, I could simply not find any motivation to work on my Daemons. I'm pretty frustrated about that, but it is as it is...

Good luck to everybody still in, you all have my highest respect.

    @ Matt... thanks my friend!

@ Darnok. we are sorry to see you go. Seems the attrition rate has been even higher this year than normal. Hope to see you back again next tale.

Sorry to see you go Darnok, but at least you've got some lovely looking Daemons out of it though.

I agree, but I imagine that 6th edition will bring a higher number of starters when the next Tale begins later in the year...
No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering.
