So I did a search and there was one topic about this book, but its from 2010. I also know this isnt a new observation but im curious about it.
Anyhow my question is: Why is it that this book, (or PDF), comes with the usual rules for the house gangs, but has nothing really pertaining to the outlanders rules and gangs?
I just wondered how GW ever expected to make any money on a book and range with a ruleset that doesnt even cover half the models in that range?
Did they want people to use scavvies, redemptionists and ratskins as one of the house gangs? Were spyrers just not supposed to be used? I suppose people could make their own rules up but it does make me question why if there is actually a book for the outlanders...which they no longer sell and must be scavenged like a scavvy lunch from the ends of the internet.
We're fortunate in that my gaming group actually owns the original ruleset, the source book and outlanders, but after reading a bit of this one I just cant understand the mindset behind it.
Afterall they were hardly going to make money on something most people wouldnt see the point in buying, that then excludes half their range. I suppose when the book was released they were already looking away from Necromunda...but still...
