Arming my Chaos units according to their god

Khorne Champion: "MUST KILL... SOMETHING!" *Spots random ax in a tree stump. Picks it up.* "KILL EVERYTHING! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" *Proceeds to kill everything.*

Nurgle: *Cough.* *Cough.* *Wheeze.* *Spits.* *Swings Flail at High Elf.* "Wait... Come back... Damn it."

Slaanesh: "Pray for mercy from Puss... in boots!" "Wait what?" "En garde!" *Slashes with dual rapiers.*

Tzeentch: "Did you see the transvestite stripper with the fetish boots and the rapiers kill that guy? Aw crap he's back." *Raises his Eye Covered Shield and Flaming Sword for battle.*

Undivided: "This is a Halberd. There are many like it but this one is mine. Without my Halberd I am just a deranged demonic armored sadist. Without me, my Halberd is an inert piece of metal possessed by a demon..." *Halberd starts glowing.* "No, please no! Arrrrgh!" *Halberd levitates out of his hands, swinging wildly, and hacks through his helmet in an explosion of gore.*

No offence but you're trying to impose order upon chaos. It doesnt work like that. A mace may be a nurgle thing, because it breaks the foe down before killign in breakign every bone in its body, decay is the way of nurgle. but it can also be slaanesh because breakign every bone in a enemies bdy before endign him is possible one of the most painful ways to kill him. to hear his every scream before finishing it.

The mark of khorne is an axe but his own weapon as decribed in the demons of chaos armybook is a sword. The sword is also the weapon that requires the msot skill to wield and khorne admires martial skill.

A chaos warrior of any kind can use any weapon, but he'll propably have a good reason for beliving that his weapon honours the god he fights for. his reasons are an homage to his god and that is all they require of him, that he does deeds in their name.

The gods also overlap, martial perfection can be both a khorne and a slaanesh thing and thoose gods are diametrically opposed. Khorne because its martial and slaanesh because its a form of perfection. ofcourse slaanesh represents the will to break the tabu. Excelling in combat isnt that much tabu. then again the things you do to achieve that excelence or to prove it may well be.
