    Re: Harry's Quest

I have been painting up some old Chests.
Can't have a dungeon bash without some treasure.
All of these are old citadel chests from different times and places.

Heres a couple of close ups

Very nice Harry, my girlfriend and I have been using the chests that came with hero's quest as some of our decor, but these are a vast improvement

I have a couple of those, including a necro chest, I got them to replace exactly what Constant said, the HQ chests I normally used. Nice to see other variations

Treasure chests would make a nice touch to a dungeon. Hmmm something else to think about getting...

The models from orcs lair have got to be some of my favorite green skins, the little latern snatching dude you've got there, the goblin jester, and the squig hound I think are amazingly characterful minis. Glad you're going to do them for your log!

Very characterful and, like a lot of the Orc and Goblin stuff at the time very cartoony....
But great fun to paint up.

    Mean while ... Orcs DONE!
This just leaves me need to do Orc archers, Skaven and Minos for the main game.

These guys seem to look the part ... like they are standing guard.
They are Regiment of Renown RRD5 Rugluds armoured Orcs.
I went with the mix of shields as the 'fluff' says that all there gear is looted and they never bothered to repaint the shields.

And here are one or two close ups:

Looking great Harry! I wish I had your miniature painting skills. Love the idea of the orcs scavenging various armour from the dungeion "victims".

    Cheers!

    You are too kind.

The idea of these guys looting their armour was actually part of the original Ruglud's armoured orcs background.

I love those early Skaven models, good to see them nicely painted. There was an awful lot of pointing in those days.

    Re: Harry's Quest

Just found this PLOG and loving it as Quest is one of my favourite games. Seeing such a collection of older miniatures is awesome too. I've always planned on doing a project that involves painting everything needed for Quest but time and money have always got in the way! However, SHAME ON YOU for only having come around to Quest recently!
My Various Painting Projects, just added Kobold Gougers and Dreadball RefBot. Please check it out and leave feedback which is all gratefully received

Miniatures bought this year: 401 (Bloody Kickstarter) Miniatures painted this year: 42

I APOLOGISE! But I am here now .... and am back into dungeon bashing generally ... I am seriously considering getting together all the models I need for low level D&D next.

Aren't they all coming from Reaper in a few months? You'll have enough for several low level adventures simultaneously then
Trying to convince Warseer that GW are anything less than perfect is like trying to teach a horde of zombies that lettuce is a perfectly acceptable alternative to brains.
