Im here to tell you about the 6s2hit.com gaming open day.

Date: 21.04.12
Location: Raf Club, 11 Hillside Crescent, Edinburgh EH7 5EA
Time: 11am till 11pm
Cost: £3 for the whole day, £1.50 5pm till 11pm

Details:

All Day Gaming tables.
In the main hall there will be ten 6’X4’ gaming tables, set up for visitors to take turns playing on all day. From 6pm the eight 6by4 tournament gaming tables will be free for visitors to use as well. So you can bring whatever army or game you play and play it all day with your friend or new players you meet on the day!

On the day we will be running 5 demo games for all visitors to partake in. games on play will be…

&
Spartans Games
Dystopian Wars
So if you have not played these games, or just want to get a look at how they work, then jump right on in and see if you can give our 6s2Hit Volunteers a sound thrashing.

The Shop:
6s2Hit-TheShop will be in attendance. We have the widest available range of Mantic models in Edinburgh. We also carry all you need to start playing Dystopian wars. On the day you will be able to order Spartan Games’ Firestorm Armada and Uncharted Seas or any Mantic games models we don’t have on the day. We also hope to have KR cases and if all goes to plan we may even have little Games Workshop stock with us.

The Podcast:
We are hoping to get one or two recordings in for our podcast during the day, what people think of it, one to one interviews with the tournament winners and chats with anyone who wants to talk about the game they brought with them to play.

The Studio:
6s2Hit-TheStudio is the newest wing of 6s2Hit Empire. The Studio is planning to bring you lots of new and existing gaming aids, models and even board and table top games! Stop and take a look at what we have made and what we have planned. And if you like what you see or have any ideas, then why not take the time to fill out our like & dislike forms… the idea we like the most we will look into making a reality!

Painting Contest:
We are running our first 6s2Hit painting competition and it’s open to ALL attending the open day from staff to visitors. Do you have a painted model, do you fancy painting a new one for the day ether way why not bring one of your models along for a chance to win some mantic models!
