I've always loved the beginnings of zombie movies. ie; The news reports in the background and the subtle referances in everyday life of the main characters of the films slowly leading into the bloody zombie apocalypse. Pontypool (think thats what it was called) was a great film for this even if the reason for the zombies was hilarious, which i wont spoil for those who havent seen it yet XD You dont see much but its the idea that you dont know whats going on in the wider world only whats going on around you that i like.
