Lantzkev just nailed it. The wording is whats important here. Shadows in the Warp says 3d6 specifically in the codex and I don't believe it was errata'd. Runes of Warding was and if they wanted it to not stack they would have added something to the effect of "Multiple Runes of Warding do not create a cumulative effect." The fact of the matter is that they didn't and therefore they do stack. I haven't played Eldar in 10 years and if I was playing against someone who was playing them and he had 2 Farseers I would roll 4D6 for my psychic tests if I had any because that is the way its supposed to be. This is all because people want Psykers to be the baddest guys in the game and the Errata for Eldar has told psykers in no polite way to go **** themselves.
Thank you have a nice day.
The Tyranid Shadow in the Warp was errata'd about the same time as the Eldar runes.

GM:"You awake to a beautiful morning, the forest is peaceful as a zephyr whistles through the tree branches"
Bob:"A Whistling Zephyr? I waste it with my crossbow...ha I rolled a critical hit...28 points of damage, is it dead?"
GM:"What? of course not you *****, it just carries on whistling thru the trees"
Sara:"Guys relax a zephyr is just a breeze"
Bob:"Breeze my ass, it just took 28 hit points and it's still whistling at me!"
