    Thanks for the comments!

@Dismembered - Yep, the transfers are the forgeworld ones, I highly recommend them as you get so many. They can be abit tricky to apply on shoulder pads, so I use MicroSet and MicroSol decal solutions. Gloss varnish on the pad, then MicroSet, apply decal, use MicroSol to soften it up so it 'moulds' to the pad, sometime takes a few coats of MicroSol, then once dry seal it with Matt varnish. (I use Vallejo Matt Varnish).

My Terminator squad now is fully assembled, based and primed. Hopefully I should find some time over the weekend to paint them up.

    Cheers.

Thanks for the tips, I do have a sheet of the transfers already. Always good to hear peoples tips and tricks for applying them though.

As well as my 40K and Epic:40K Raven Guard armies, I am slowly building up a Raven Guard fleet for Battlefleet Gothic.

As I was digging around in the internet for ideas and fleet lists, it turned out that it was cheaper to buy Forgeworld Grey Knight strike cruisers than the GW Specialist Games ones. So with this in mind I bought 6 FW strike cruisers and a GW battle barge. Made even cheaper by ordering from Warhammer World in Nottingham to remove postage costs. This will be the core to my fleet and I will be slowly adding escorts, thunderhawks and maybe more cruisers over the next year or so.

The FW strike cruisers required alittle converting to make them look more like the standard space marine strike cruisers, but it wasn't too difficult. I replaced the fins with small pieces of plasticard rounded off at the edges, and applied FW Raven Guard brass etching to add abit of detail. I also magnetised the stands.

    Hope you enjoy!

Great work here, please keep the models coming!

Also, nice touch how all the marines coming out the rhino have beaky helmets, I love it!

Great looking Raven Guard. The highlights on the black armour is very crisp. Your captain looks great too. The only thing I don't like are the Scouts' heads, but that's the models. Oh, and great to see some Epic thrown in as well!
