I used to work at the GW Newcastle branch just next to the Viz office. I'm trying to figure out who the red shirt is based on.

Trick was to point out where the assistant went wrong (immediately after establishing the customer defo wanted those, even though they're unrelated army products, you smile, and see if the need anything. You don't berate them!)

It's obvious where the assistant went wrong. He didn't try to sell a box of Lord of the Rings Orcs to the kid too. Get them hooked on all three core systems, that's the way to do it.

That...was uncomfortable. I've been in such situations myself with less socially aware geeks and it brings back bad memories.
