I've bought from them, and loved everything so far. No problems at all with cast quality at all. You can also buy their products from online stores such as Darksphere if you want to go through a UK retailer.

    They look very promising.

The mod messing with the older thread... was me. Now everything is where it should be. Much to learn I still have.

The only issue I have with raging heroes is that they tend to just slap textures over skin in a way that looks like neither clothing or armor, kinda anime-silly-costume-style. Hopefully that isn't the case with these new models.

Mind-boggling. This is like WF/Defiance again. Release a couple of shoddy pics that aren't representative of the final product, and people go mad for them.

Mad insane, not mad angry, which would be more understandable.

Gotta say Verm1s, the final product on the few raging heroes models I've ordered aint bad. The tree warriors casts we're very, very high quality, even if the sculpt was quite basic (they look great painted with tree flock added to the branches though) the manticore was a pain to assemble, but the sculpt looks better in person than in their promo material. I personally agree that the last few releases have been utter garbage (cyber wolves, plague demon, Orc-war master). But elf girls with minimal details, 2 swords, and okay faces can't be that difficult as long as they avoid the dumb textured vines and metal and crud just stuck to their skin like I was talking about. The brightened images look a hell of a lot better than GWs offering, I'll say that much. Seriously though, you sculpt right verm1s? If you can do better and get em cast by troll forged or something, I'll be the first in line to buy

Well it wouldn't be the internet without some petulent whining.

RH released a proper picture of one of the sculpts:

That's a pretty mean case of manface.
That combined with the ridiculously tiny waist makes me lean towards "no, thanks."

    Take it away, Tim Curry.

The head is too big and the face is problematic, I'm hoping they may be able to address these issues given that it is still WIP they are asking for feedback. They still are no worse than 90% of the female sculpts out there, though.

The details look awfully soft, too. It looks on a par with mid-90s plastics from GW. I realise it's only a 3d render, but that's all I can ever find on RH's site anyway.

Oh, Ludaman. You had me agreeing with you until you came out with that. "Let's see you do better!" You could've gone a bit further and included "Don't like don't buy!" and "You're just jealous!" to round out the trinity.

Which misses the point of my post, anyway. But I agree that Roginshirozz' quality is very variable; so with that and the subject of childish barbs in mind:

Petulant whining? You lot were flapping like Beiber fans over silhouettes. Unless you're champing at the bit at the prospect of pushing tiny black cardboard cutouts across a tabletop, I'd say it's a little more mature and prudent to wait for actual pics before trying to throw cash at your monitor.

Now we see a real pic of one of the renders, and the first reactions are "uh-oh!" So...

Still WIP? Still looking for feedback on changes to make? Preorders this week?

    Defiance.

I'd rather see people getting excited and optimistic than whinging on the sidelines, there is more than enough of that already, and it is contemptible.

The sculpt aren't perfect, but they aren't bad and the posing (you know, on the silhouettes) was dynamic and enticing. I'm still enthused to see what we can get out of this, given that Raging Heroes are working with 3d plans there is plenty of time to tweak things. Which you may have known if you had paid attention instead of making snide comments.

I just assumed they were making Witch Elf Bobbleheads. I'm actually reminded a bit of the Bratz dolls (or whatever their current incarnation is called - the children's toy with the tiny girl bodies and giant heads that once tried to take Barbie's crown of Fashion Doll Queen).

Not a fan - I'll hold out hope for GW and/or AoW.

I'll wait to see the final result before making a decision, however the heads/faces are no worse than GWs so I'll probably still buy a few packs. I can always do some headswaps or get someone to resculpt them. I actually rather like the poses and bodies and those odd arm spike things in the first preview.

I for one and very impressed with the close up pic. The concept is great and I think the face/head is ace, it looks like they will be very easy to paint up with sexy seductive look. If the cast quality is good enough Witch elf army here we come!

Well I like them. Quite a lot, in fact. Now, if they added a little variety in hairstyles I'd be a happy bunny. Braids, locks, shaven heads... Anything but mohawks, of course.

Don't worry to much about the faces yet, remember detail is lost in the actual casting. If they don't start with deep lines and ridges, the final product is flat faces with hard to paint eyes.

I think if they can make the head shape more like the DE lelith than the current fantasy witch elves the face issue will be fine.

As said on our blog, our first intention was to go for 28-30mm, but the only comments we received about scale were from several different sources asking for 32mm. It now seems that this came more from people playing Sci-Fi games rather than Fantasy games.
This is really not a problem as we are planning to release a Sci-fi version of this unit and we can easily make that Sci-Fi release in a 32mm scale and keep the Fantasy release in 28-30mm scale is that's what works for you.
Please don't hesitate to give us your feedback and suggestions as we're still at a stage where we can make some changes.
"Communicating with consumers for input is a place where I see many miniature companies fail, so it's a refreshing change to see a company making such sensible business decisions." Huzzah! Lord Dan took the words right out of my mouth.

Awesome! It's great that you are out here and open to feedback. I noticed that on your site, but it seemed that you had made your final decisions for scale. To chime in, I think 28-30mm would be better as I can imagine a lot of people using these for Warhammer. The Manticore and Syl-Iriah are both very nice sculpts and fit into my armies very well.

As for these Blood Vestals sculpt, at first I thought the head was a bit too big, but I don't mind it so much now. That said, if it shrank a tiny bit, I wouldn't be too upset either. My only real hesitation was also already mentioned by someone else: the breasts are too perky.

I feel like all the feral/fanatical/witch/hag minis that are produced aren't grisly enough. I mean, I don't see these ladies putting on make-up and trying to sexy themselves into winning battles. And yeah, I know that the Dark Elves of the GW universe have sex and torture cults, I get it. Sex sells. But you know what? So do bad ass minis that look like they're going to rip my face off and wear it to terrify my fellow soldiers. This may just be a gripe about the entire hobby in general and not just about these particular minis: but where are the horrifying female miniatures? I should be terrified of what they would do to me instead of thinking, "that's a hot mini." Heck, witch elves, blood vestals, and other similar characters would probably strap their breasts down tight to keep them out of the way while swinging a couple of barbed swords around to slit my throat but not cut my head off.
