    Still's Tamurkahn Nuln Empire log.

    I am a long time player of Hordes Warriors of Chaos. Having recently picked up a copy of Tamurkahn with the intention of expanding my already expansive Chaos. However, after reading through the book (a thoroughly enjoyable read I might add) I have done an about turn and started an Empire army! Here is my plog dedicated to the heroic defenders of Nuln.

    Here is a list of all the plastic crack I have purchased to start the army off.

    43x Manann's Blades.
    40x Empire Empire State Troops (plan on making them as Halberdiers).
    20x Crossbowmen (going to use the hand guns for Ironside Armoured Handgunners might need another 20)
    1x Celestial Hurricanum (will use the mage to make a Light Mage to boost my units)
    1x Amber Wizard (to boost my units)
    2x Priests (to boost units)
    1x bloke to be converted into a BSB
    1x Great Cannon
    1x Helblaster Volley Gun

    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...



    Terrible picture... Absolutely dire... However, I am missing my charger for my camera, so at the moment I am stuck with the girlfriends iPod...

    That was undercoated white, then given a leviathan purple wash. Next up is a black wash, followed by another purple. This should give me a nice off black purple.

    What do you think?

    Looks like you have a lot of models to paint. I'm interested to see how the layers of washes turn out.

    Worked on the dragon quite a bit. Taking much longer than first estimates!







    White primer, purple wash, 3x black washes on the dragons hide. Elspeth's dress will be a much deeper and darker red than that when I am finished with the washes.

    I like how it's looking so far. What do you think?

    Thanks eldargal! No more work on Elspeth yet, I'm on holiday. Get home tomorrow, more work to follow!
