Thread: Necrons. Yes, more.

    Necrons. Yes, more.

My 8-year old son really wanted to get into 40K after watching me play a few times with my Crimson Fists army. So, when the new Necron codex came out, he decided he wanted to play 'crons. As for painting, he typically does the base coats and then I finish off the details for him. When it comes to playing, he can usually last about 3 turns before his attention span wanders, so I end up playing for him most of the time

Anyhow, the last HQ unit that is painted up, the Overlord figure from the Catacomb Command Barge:

If you're looking for steady replies to come in think again. Don't get me wrong it's a great website to find some great ideas and see the vast supply of talented modelers and painters, it's also a lot of lurking and skimming.

On to your army Liking what you have done so far. I'd like to see how some of the skimmers come out. I'm dreading painting my Doomsday Arc and Ghost Arc...

Unless you're doing something really original or your painting is just amazing, expect around...1 reply every 300 views, because simply replying "Nice work, love your ** can't wait for more" is pretty boring, and it's actually hard to give useful painting advice without knowing your skill level and what your painting style is. That's why we don't get a lot of replies around here.
