Terrible. What's up with young guys getting heart attacks :/. How old was he, mid 30s?
Doesn't necessarily help, a friend of mine suffered a heart failure at age 26 and he's an avid cyclist and track runner, not fat, doesn't smoke or drink. Had the neighbor not both seen him keel over while preparing is bicycle and been a paramedic he'd have died on the spot, but as it happened the neighbor could revive him with CPR. Damn glad it worked, CPR out of a hospital environment has like a 10% chance to work, it's not like in the movies. Nobody yet knows why his heart just stopped. Seems like something comparable might have happened to Eldanar, he looks like a football player on the picture on Dakka, not like a couch potato. It's just sad.get checked out and stay fit,

He was 42, married and has a son age 3. He would go jogging several times per week and was not in bad shape. He died shortly after leaving his home for a jog.

I read about this on 40K Online a while back, but I didn't realise it was the same Eldanar. It's very sad. He was a great contributor to Eldar discussions, and a very calming influence during disagreements. I will miss him.

I don't very often head down to Random Musings any more, so I just saw this. As one of the few members I've met personally (along with Brimstone, actually) Eldanar was one of the nicest and most articulate guys in the hobby. This sucks. He shall be missed.
I shall name my Farseer in his honour.
