    Age of Apostasy

I'm currently looking to set up an Age of Apostasy campaign as something a little different. Obviously there are gaps to be filled in. I have all of the rulebooks, from my beloved 2nd edition through to 5th (and a copy of RT of course). Are there any other sources out there with more info in, I know the 2nd edition Sisters of Battle has some stuff in, but what about the later Witch Hunters book? What else is out there that I should be looking at? Thanks very much in advance.

The Dark Heresy book 'Disciples of the Dark Gods' details the Temple of the Saviour Emperor and the history, belief system and structure of the remnants of Vandire's organization; I'd suggest that as a good source for his side of things.

Was the background material in the 2nd edition Codex: Assassins set during this period? Might be worth a look. There was also some information in various Space Wolves books - take a look at the 2nd and 5th edition Codexes.

I think there was a story in one of the White Dwarfs a few years ago, cant be that long ago, sometime after WD 260 (start of my collection)

Probably doesn't have anything you don't have to hand, but Lexicanum is usually a good place for a concise version of events.

    Re: Age of Apostasy

It's noted that The Second Battle of the Fang takes place during/close-to the Age of Apostasy; looking into Space Wolf lore might reveal a good few nuggets. Similarly, the background to Inquisitor (specialist game) might well have further detail on what the Inquisition was up to at the time. The Battle of the Fang by Chris Wraight thus is perhaps useful with regards to the setting of the Fang itself, if the 'second battle' is of any particular interest.

Beyond that, detail's rather surprisingly thin on the ground.
