Back in school. Starting the entire thing off with 3 days dedicated to the project!


I got some new stuff for you. Done some painting and started one awesome army. And it will be huge. 4500pts-5000pts to start with.

Are you interested in WIP pictures? Built and non painted models that is. I plan on taking photos on my Sea Lords army. It is an CSM army that act like pirates.

Today I will start working on my warhound. Preparing the base and bathing the little guy. Assembling the feet as well.

My teachers belive this can be big if I put down som serious time into this. And I will. Every week.

I have started assembling the titan. The feet are a pain in the back to assemble. But I have made progress. Bought a really strong LED light and made it glow through a hole into the cockpit so the eyes glow when fully assembled.

Interesting, i have a chaos warhound on the way i plan on doing exactly that too. Can i ask where you got the LEDs from and how you went about it? I'm thinking of putting them in the plasma blastgun nozzle too. think its possible?

It is indeed possible if you find small train hobby shop I think they will have that small led lights. I actually got a small torch from a Swedish store. I removed the outer parts and put the battery parts in the back room and then removing the techmarine with much work to put the LED light and wires in the neck of the titan through a hole I drilled all the way into the cockpit. It made the light a bit more dull because the light was simply way to strong to just be put in the cockpit.

Just make sure to drill the blastguns nozzles a bit deeper and dont pick up a LED light that is as strong as mine was. It took way to much work to fix and dull down.

I made the battery parts and wires a part of the machine room by using chaos bitz to mask it into the walls and floor.

And guys I have a crazy idea. I am going to stop buying models for 4 years. I will buy one final model as birthday gift for me and a milestone to know it is the end.

Like the "glowing in the dark" Warhound. Didnt know you had one, if i had, we could have built some Worhounds together, still havent started on mine.....

Thunderer also looking nice, how was the fit on yours ? Mine left alot to be desired. Took some time to fit to the new sides.

No more minis for four years ? Can you do that ?
But then again, with a Reaver in the pipe, i guess it and the Warhound will keep you occupied.

The thunderer had a decent fit. But It leaned slightly to the left and exposing some gap. So I had to carefully heat the whole thing up and bend it a bit.
It took me 2 days to get that far on my warhound. But planning on redoing the arms again. Got some nice things for my birthday I can use. Get started on yours, it is boring with the legs but makes you feel proud once it stands tall.
I plan on finishing it by february. Complete version.

Hopefully there will be an apocalypse event here in the south and we might be facing each other ^^

Hopefully I can. All my friends wrote me lists of what I could get instead. It is crazy what you can get for the samce price as a reaver titan.

My closest friends list:
1 Preator assault launcher
1 Dark eldar tantalus
10 Dkok at ease
1 Dkok assault centaur.
1 Grenadier specail/heavy weapon (to use for the assault centaur)
Make 10 Sea lords styled plauge marines
1 Blight drone
And if there is anything left of the money. The rest would be used to buy the last things for the Dark eldar army.

He, yeah that would be awesome Just to bad that there is no Apocalypse in the near future, as far as i know of....
Ive still got my homemade one so if anythig comes up i can still use it instead.
Have strong doubts that ill get my FWone done by February

That Reaver is a pricy mini, i know. Thats why i scratchbuilt mine

I usually play apocalypse with a group of friends up in Gothenburg. 1-2 a year. Always a draw. Nevertheless the game is exciting. More exciting than a normal 40K game according to me

No it is not easy finding the extra energy to start up such a large project. I need to do it for school and also it is the biggest mini I ever owned.

I wish I could scratch build at all. I am not that good with plasticards.

You will probably notice what I choose to do. Still some time left until I decide. I am still selling some stuff on ebay and finishing off the last things to build in my chaos army.

Well you cant scratchbuild and i cant paint........all fair

I usually play apo. with some friends from Svedala, Lund and Malmö, and that will be around once twice a year.
Got my hopes up for something big later this autumn.

Update!

My father ordered a special and final thing for my chaos army. I only got a paper with a link and typed it into my webbrowser and he had ordered an OOP GW Daemon prince. Really neat and in good condition.
Not the most fitting thing for my army but the model is so awesome that it does not matter.
I think the model was from 1996.



That was one of many gifts for my birthday 2 days ago.

I am also entering a swedish painting competiton with the limited Dark angels chaplain on a plinth.
