40K Army: Space Marines

I was thinking of alternative use for my deathwing and came up with thus:

Castellan, power weapon, storm shield, terminator armour.
4 sword brethren terminator command squad, 2 cyclone missiles, tank hunters.

5 sword brethren terminators, 2 cyclone missiles, tank hunters.

5 sword brethren terminators, 2 cyclone missiles, tank hunters.

5 sword brethren terminators, 2 cyclone missiles, tank hunters.

Emporer's champion, accept any challenge.
6 initiates, melta gun, drop pod.

5 initiates, melta gun.

The plan is to have the terminators walk up firing what is effectively 16 relentless las cannon shots popping all opposing armour, they can then start to use they're storm bolters and missiles to soften up troops.
The emporer's champion's squad will pod in after a specific target and hopefully take it down.
The 5 man squad will walk on from reserve and claim a home objective or use their melta to kill anything like pods that could have come behind me.

Everything has prefered enemy so is more than capable of mixing it up in the assault phase.

The other idea I had was to drop the caastellans power weapon and an initiate for a second pod for further mobility.

I've always thought about doing something like this... but yeah I think it's pretty limited. I'd say taking objectives will be very hard, your whole army is out in the open so you'll also have to be really careful with your units. But it's a fun idea nonetheless, but I don't know how consistent it will be :/

I see what you mean, but hopefully the sword bretheren will get the job done...

I've always wanted to give BT terminater wing a go. Personally I was looking at all assult squads (enough to make a line from one side of the table to the other), all furious charge and every time one dies they move forward. If you give it a go I'd be interested to know how it plays out. It would have been nice to see a chaplin in there to give a squad fearless and rerolls to their consolidations forward but its hard with points.

The chaplains just not worth it, everything has prefered enemy from the vow and everythings fearless in combat, so your only really getting the consolidation reroll, which you can just buy crusader seals for which would be cheaper...
