Adepticon 2012 Army - Munchy Gutsmen and the Holy Gristle

    Hey all,

It's been a rough couple weeks, but it's finally done! Thanks to those that followed my (admittedly meager this year) blog.

So here is my Monty Python and the Holy Grail themed Ogres. I would now rest a bit but I still have yet to do the team tournament army...

That is....well, quite simply...awesome! Even the wife came over and said as much! As massive Monty Python fans we both love what you've done, bringing snippets of the movie into the warhammer world with excellent results.

    Truly splendiferous!

    *applause*

I have to confess, I don't really like a lot of your commission AB work (just doesn't tick my boxes, so to speak) but this, this is superb. I chortled and looked with wonder and a smile at each pic. Beautiful.

Wow! This is stunning stuff! Wasn't sure about the cow though (e.g. if you'd use a couple of the cows from the WFB Giant kit and tie them together)..your one is still great, but it reminded me more of the abductor in the pig mask from the Saw films.
Are the buildings scratchbuilt? Or a kit from somewhere?
When you put Robin into his unit, remember to put his little supporting guys in the front rank (facing in the same direction as the rest of the unit) and Robin behind them, but facing backwards: "Brave Sir Robin ran away, ran away..."
    Good luck @ Adepticon!

Simply brilliant. Each picture made me smile at both the humour and the amazing paint jobs.

    Good luck for Adepticon!

I think the bit that really seals it as Python influenced for me is the gnoblar on Sir Robin's base. Really screams Terry Gilliam. The appearance of the model and the colouring remind me so much of the Python animated bits.

    Love the trojan stonehorn too.

    Great stuff.

Trully amazing army. You, sir, have epic skills. I think that, if I faced your army, I'd concede so I could spend the rest of the time just staring at it! Bloody well done!
