Well, stuff that buffs your units in combat, anyway. Or debuff enemy units in combat. Only two armies out of five this edition has that in the form of Heroes, but all have that in some form or other (O&G Flinger upgrade for Arachnarok, OK Thundertusk aura, VC Mortis Engine).
It's educated guesses based on the trends with the latest army releases.

Further things that would be likely (rules wise) based on previous books:
An elimination of potentially overpowered combos (ie FoTG/EoTG table)
A drastic reduction in the number of unique magic items
A re-ordering of core/special/rare to make more room for any new unit (if there is a new unit, ie moving flags and inner circle knights to core to make room for demigryphs and the wagon things in empire)
Some points changes in existing units (even without stat line changes)
Possible removal of unbreakable from hellcannon (some speculation here, but it seems (except undead) that GW has been getting rid of unbreakable units)
Thanks for the updated Avian! Also thanks for a ranking for quoted rumours!

Out of the five 8th ed armies, did anything other than the War Altar lose Unbreakable?
It will be interesting to see what new things get added to the list. If Hasting's list of plastics is correct, then any new units will be limited to the big monster kit (which I personally expect to be a Dragon and therefore not a new unit), anything that can be made as a variant build from the Forsaken, Chariot / Warshrine or Dragon Ogre kits or anything that can be made from resin (most likely single-model units). Thus it seems to me that if there is any hope of monstrous cavalry, it will have to be a variant build for the Dragon Ogre box, where you could either have the humanoid torso of the Dragon Ogre, or some sort of monstrous head and a rider.

I always assumed it was just a collector's model they kept because they thought there was a demand. Dechala is a Daemon anyway, so should by rights be in the DoC section as a variant Herald of Slaanesh with the extra arms upgrade. Heck, I remember when they first relaunched the model on the website a few years ago they suggested fielding her as a variant Spawn, for which she would be inappropriate in so many ways.

I remember that too. It almost offended me.
Anyway, according to the "Champions of Chaos" book (the only official supplement she's been on, unless I missed something), she's now "more like a Daemon than like a mortal", but because she's received many gifts. She's in command of the Tormentors, a mortal Chaos Warrior band. So, I think that IF she was to come back (which I'd love but with a new mini, please), her place would be the WoC army. After all, Valkia was there, and she's at least as daemon-like as Dechala, if not more.
According to Liber Chaotica she was a High Elf Princess. She has an amazing background, connected to Azazel. She must be one of the chaotic SCs with a more elaborate background. Eliminating her was, in the first place, a shame.
Thanks Avian for clearing up what is accurate and false rumours. After a while, I personally get impatient going through all the pages just to find and read up the real info or see some pictures. Actually, there times I just look on another forum which someone will post the pictures and info from here without going through pages and pages.
Cheers!
According to Harry...

Well, let me call up our resident witch hunter and see what he has to say about the matter.
He says she looks like a Daemon, walks like a Daemon and quacks like a Daemon, so it's best to get the bonfire ready.

Beyond that I don't see more than one extra kit, Dragon Ogres seem like they'd fit the Monstrous Cavalry style has been common so far, perhaps they will be build able as just the dragon half? Or with a different bottom half for making standard ogres? Beyond that a bunch of characters is pretty much a given.
Hastings is super reliable and I think his plastic rumors are in line with other releases.
Some kind of Big Kit. Every faction is getting multiple kits, Chaos so far have the manticore.
Chariot/Shrine. GW has been talking about a re-done chariot since the mid 2000's.
Forsaken/Chosen. In line with GW updating metal elite infantry to plastic.
Dragon ogres. Really old models, in line with GW giving factions a plastic monstrous inf/cav release.
The chance of getting a combined Forsaken / Chosen kit are essentially zero, given that they don't share any options whatsoever. The chance of getting a combined Warriors / Chosen kit, at some point but probably not right now, are quite good (indeed, a lot of people use Warriors with varying degrees of converting as Chosen for just this reason).

I rather doubt that. I have a feeling (based on the current artwork and the SoM entry), that they want to separate them more from Ogres. And, to be honest, while Dragon Ogres resembled standard Ogres, they have never looked much like mutated Chaos Ogres. I suspect that any new models will look more dissimilar, and it wouldn't surprise me if they go for a more "ancient and advanced" look to their weaponry and armour (rather like Lizardmen gear). Furthermore, it wouldn't surprise me if they came on 50 x 75 mm bases (as with the Demigriffon Knights).
^^ Guesswork only
