Thread: Transformation of Kadon

NB the number of "wounds suffered" is an accumulation that is checked against the W value on the profile. That is, you don't start out with a stack of six wounds and remove one every time you suffer an unsaved wound; instead, you start out with zero wounds taken and accumulate them over the game, checking against your W value to see if you're dead yet.
In past editions this was rather more literal, with the accumulation of physical wound counters, but even without that the basic principle is unchanged. Even if the multiple wound rules on p.45 do try their best to obscure this.

Apparently not. I must have confused it with another gaming system.

I didn't just make that up, I promise.

Transformation of khadon is a good one shot if you know your wizard is about to get splatted all over the place. Have done it before, vampire on its last wound, turned into emperor fire dragon, killed a tonne of troops, won combat, then got dispelled, challenged (with no where to run), and splatted.
He helped turn the game, barely....
