40K Army: Chaos Daemons

Have a 1500 point tourney coming up and trying to decide between two lists.... thoughts?

List one: Princes

HQ:

Keeper of secrets: sophoric musk

I would drop the Keeper all together, it's the least survivable of the big four, my blood crushers are four strong each 1 regular and 3 upgraded for wound allocation. Unlike most of the daemon list I see, I run a 12 strong unit of flesh hounds with Karnak; they're pretty good at hunting rhino's tanks and doing really bad things to Greyknights. When it comes to daemon princes and grinders, it's either a pair of one and one of the other. For the most part I go with a pair of nurgle princes with wings and 1 grinder with phlegm. Just a few ideas.

I would play a Bloodthirster in place of the Keeper and as far as the Princes/Grinder question it really depends on the environment that you play in. If there are a bunch of people spamming Melta and Lance weapons in their armies then the Princes are far better than the Grinders but if people aren't really using a lot of Dark Eldar or Vulkan then the Grinders are just fine. I have used both and can honestly say that both have did well for me although it really depends on who you are fighting. When it comes to Princes its either a Tzeentch Bolt/Gaze Prince or a Nurgle one with Wings decked out for CC. The Nurgle DP with that setup really is a miniature Bloodthirster in a lot of ways except that he does have Offensive and Defensive grenades.

not sure that princes would survive any longer against DE though... my nid MC's drop like flies to poison shooting as it is....

tried out the grinder list in a couple of games so far, and they've done quite well (although they don't all survive of course!)
