What units have you played with that were called cheesy, but are far from it?

Saw a thread in Warhammer general, figured I'd do something similar. I'll start...

    Lets see...
Chaos lord with mark of khorne and daemon weapon
Daemon princes of all types, but with wind of chaos

Tervigons... (to thepoint they swore I wasn't allowed to use them anymore)
Trygons... (T6, 6 wounds. "Thats like 6 of them being there that I have to kill") (Yeah, but I could take 40 termagants instead and you'd have to kill 40 of them)
    T-fex... (T6, 6 wounds)
    Paroxysm..
    Raveners...
(pretty much anything in my nid codex that has more than 1 wound)
    Lictors...

Sad when players think current Tyranidz are cheesey!

I was labeled cheesey bringing 24 Bloodcrushers, 2 Bloodthirsters, 1 Khorne Daemon Prince and 16 Bloodletters to a few Indy GTs...lol!

A lot of people seem to think that Bloodcrushers are cheesy. They are a tough unit to handle sometimes but they definetly have their flaws. In some games they will wreck stuff and in others your opponent might consolidate all his fire on them when they land and then they go poof.

It depends on what point totals you're playing, those baby makers are ridiculous in say a 750pt game when you run multiples of them.

I had a few players rather annoyed with my Biker unit- Khan, Chaplain, full Bike squad with 2 flamers and heavy bolter.

Poke around on Warseer long enough and virtually every unit in the game will be called cheesy. Or underpowered, for that matter.

Hive Tyrant. Because it almost killed a already injured Wolf Lord in CC. And despite the fact the Wolf Lord promptly took the poor Tyrant's last wound with his Wolf Hammer.

Generally it is the Genestealers because they sometimes kill four or five Marines on the charge if they are dumb enough to be standing out of cover.

Necron Warriors (previous codex) due to their anti-infantry shooting.

Genestealers are not the squishy horrors of melee they used to be, it's sad.

My Dreadknight @295pts, I've had several people call em cheesy, but they just aren't super powerful for that many points.

Often these posts are of a "look at me whatever I play is considered cheesy" kind and just emphasize the poster being an obnoxious jerk. Who is _that_ guy in your local group? Most likely you. Just saying

Edit: some posts are of a less seroius and more funny nature, I like these!

Please, I've had six Incubi (with onslaught) with archon (agoniser, phanny launcher, ghostplate, drug) called cheesy. It's a unit that is good at killing MeQ units, so it's clearly cheese

My little (4bases) units x2 of scarabs no spyders in the list and recently praetorians x5 with void blades only because the entropiced one of his land raiders (playing at 1500) true I did roll well hitting and reducing but cheese on a unit that costs the same as terminators and has no invun and only a 3+ no way. Still use them though.

    Let's see.

Tyranid Warriors with lash whips, boneswords and toxin sacs. These were called OP, until everyone actually looked at their stats outside of combat, and realised that they were 3-wound, T4 models, with only a 4+ save for protection. I believe a vindicator shell emphasised the point.

Venomthropes (until people realised that they were 55pt, 2-wound models, with even worse armour than warriors.

Broodlord's Hypnotic Gaze (Yes, as a close combat army, I believe we're allowed a couple of abilities that actually work in combat).

The old Necron Destroyers (because they would occasionally accomplish something, unlike my other units...).

An opponent called my ten daemon squad of bloodletters cheesy after they ate their second squad of marines on the trot. Not my fault he didn't shoot the buggers.
