[QUOTE=Arnizipal;6182887]Was his daemonic steed a Skaven?

Neither Faros, Tzenkial or Ech'in'char are Imperial names.
I think that part of your story could use some work.

If they were slowly falling to Tzeentch then it wasn't a rumour, it was fact and the Witch Hunters had grounds to be suspicious.
I don't see how their family being b
No before his family was killed they was already a laughing stock as to the rest of the empire they wouldn't of been nobility or even looked like it as they was quite poor. I know those 3 aint empire names, they are the names they used as they began to fall to chaos. The thing with the witch hunters was that the rest of the family was not even corrupt it was only Faros and his 2 brothers but they didnt officially join chaos until after the witch hunters attacked and he basically swore revenge on every witch hunter in existance.

One of them was a Wizard Lord and the other a Grand Master of a knightly order.
Generally speaking those are not poor people

They are seen as poor because when they are not in battle gear they dress like peasents would plus for years his familys fortune has been falling as other nobles have been taking their trade as such.

How about writing in a fourth brother? He could be a hapless stoner and would be a good way of showing that not all of the family are massively successful in every field they choose to operate in.

In the inevitable film Jack Black could play him.

Wizards don't trade... And why would they dress like peasants?
They get paid for being a knight/greatsword/wizard. Quite well in fact (especially the wizard).

I imagine the wizard would so that he dosent get all the suspicous looks and while the 3 brothers may be wealthy his father certainly wasnt and his mother inherited her fathers trade

To be fair, I earn an OK wage, but I tend to dress like a peasant, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility for a wizard to do similar.

    Not saying I'm a wizard...

Also, his family business is doing bad... so the brothers have to use their wages (from knight/wizard) to paid their family business debt. Happens all the time in real life, so why not in WHFB. I've seen powerful people going broke because they did wrong investment... their family could have done the same thing.... like .... getting their rich caravan sacked by Ogres and lost all their gold.

I like this idea, orignally I was not going to have much mention of his family in the fluff of my army but this is a great idea. Tzeench comes to him and his 2 brothers as they are tired of having to pay debts they want a better life they want to control their destiny. At first they resist but slowly begin to become corrupted. As rumors about their family gets spreaded they begin to fall further to tzeench and the knights and greatswords begin to fall to chaos. As Faros's corruption becomes greater Daemons begin appearing in local woods as Tzeench has found his chosen champion. Beastmen attacks on their home town force Faros and his brothers to constantly fight for the towns survival. After one very brutal beastmen attack the witch hunters turn up having heard about daemonic apperitions. As they go up to Faros's family home they find daemonic appearitions which the witch hunters believed was summond by the family but they was summoned by Faros's corruption.
