Yeah, start my own small miniatures company making the miniatures i want to play with and if other people like them they can buy them too.
Then travel, travel, travel... and see it all.
This made me laugh quite hard. I really hope you win the lottery...... please?
I'd do all the obligatory things that come with winning the lotto + buy the greatest death korps army ever fielded. After that, a gigantic tyranid army with a ridiculous amount of biotitans. Paint until I go insane, then two armies can battle it out on the most detailed gaming table ever created. It would be a week long battle. Of glory. And tears. And blood. And.... toy soldiers.

Three words - Titan Quarto Legion. And then of course a battlegroup of Phantoms and Revenants to go up against them.![]()

My big thing, winning the lottery, would be to have a big skip filled with plastic models and swim in them Scrooge McDuck style. And buying a top hat and a monacle![]()
Kidnap Jervis Johnson, build a time machine and rewind the last 20 years of his life. Set him up to create Epic Armageddon again with limitless funds!
Oh and probably kill ebay with my addictive spending...

Mat Ward Fact #142 - The Mat Ward Defence League exists to ensure that nothing untoward happens unto Ward.
Mat Ward Fact #183 - The word coward originated as an abbreviation of the phrase "critical of Ward".
Guild up to join the Mat Ward Defence League!
In my boredom in work I totalled up how much it would cost to buy every squad for a blood angels chapter (using what is stated on the codex). I think it came to just over £10,000! I don't even need to win the lottery for a chapter!!!

I wasn't aware he was so hard up for cash he had to work the streets to make ends meet ;-)

It's boring if we all just reply with our retirement plans, I think the idea is you have to spend lots of money on something wargaming-related. I like the idea of my own miniatures company myself. I've got some ideas, it would be fun to actually pay some people to execute them.
Great thread, I was daydreaming about what I would do if I won the lotto just yesterday!
I would go crazy on eBay buying lots of old GW stuff like a full WD collection etc. Paint for a couple of hours a day, study history at uni, go cycling every day and have a kick ass wine cellar.
Watching Tour de France in Australia = No sleep
Build a gaming table with a 40K imperium cathedral complex several feet high, with dozens of floors and an enormous hall, high enough you could nearly stand in it and large (and playable) enough you could fully fledged battles in it, as well as games like necromunda and combat patrol.
It'd be.. * snif * awesome..
Sometimes a post is so rotten I have to respond like dr.Cox -- My Dwarven painting log -- My Lizardmen painting log -- My Scurrying Skaven painting log -- My nurgle beastmen painting log --My Tau cadre painting log -- My knights of the white wolf -- My Ork painting log
---> Newest: 13-5-2013; Lizardmen, tournament pictures, Won best painted army! ---> New: 7-4-2013; The friendly riptide saves a firewarrior
Totally doable! OK, I don't know about dozens of floors, but seriously you should try it, I don't think it would be all that hard if you planned out the floorplan in advance, found an affordable building material, and stuck to it. Obviously it would take time and it wouldn't be super cheap, but it would be awesome and it probably wouldn't be so expensive that the average Joe couldn't pull it off if he really wanted to. I'm sure you could find detail-y stuff for the inside from all over the place - your bits box, toy kits, random odds and ends, etc. Could be an on-going project so you build it bit by bit as you have the time/funds.
by the time I win the lottery I would probably be able to buy a single ork warboss due to price increases
nah, get a2 massive epic armies, and then convert them to 40k scale. and have a massive battle!

i would do somthing hobby related, as in a store were any one can pop in have a game have a nice chat, maybe paint buy some new items stuff like that. but would not charge over the top as come on, if you got the euromillions i think as long as your store cover the rent and and other bills who give a ***** if you make a large profit, i know i would not mind. as you be getting better income from having your cash sitting in a bank!
Specialist Games.....hmmmm...I think I'd try to obtain a license to put those back into production!
Lease the lot. Moulds that exist, stuff that never made it into production. Everything. Massive relaunch!
I'd build a gigantic 40k cityscape with all the trimming, buildings large enough to hide Titans and.. and this is the awesome bit... an intricate series of rails on the ceiling to strap Valkyries and Thunderhawks to, so that instead of "moving" them on the table, you just sling them along these rails to give the impression of flying.
I'd also build a humongous chunk of the Empire in several 6x4 battlefields form, complete with dense forest table section, Empire hamlet, mountain pass, river, and a fully equipped fort.
I'd also pay travel expenses for gamers to play at this heaven of wargaming, as there aren't really many people to play against in the backward-end of Wales.
Oh, and several dozen bottles of Whiskey and Guiness on tap, in the same room. Warhammer becomes infinitely better with alcohol.
Dark Lancers Renegade Astartes Chapter, Chaos Space Marines - 7,000pts
The Undead Scourge, Vampire Counts - 2,500pts [log]
Averland State Army, Empire - 3,000pts [log]
Still need one more Zombie Dragon/Terrorgheist rider (the Blood Dragon, not Ghoul King)? PM me for much £££s!
Warhammer 40k or Fantasy player in North Wales? PM me!
Good luck with that. I offered GW serious moolah for the rights to just one SG (Epic) and they turned me down.
I'd start investing in plastics for my miniatures company ***.
Also I'd send my 11 week old daughter to private school, and buy a big house, but that's just boring.
***seven new releases and the rule book goes into open beta this weekend at SALUTE!
