I've copied all of Hechman's post (green text) into my own, so hopefully that should be the end of it.
I hope the latest developments give you guys something to chew over...

Welcome back! How were the exams/holidays/work/deep spiritual revelations?
work is good! Thats primarily whats been keeping me away, plus its the middle of larp season and running my own one has kept my creativeness focused on that rather than a bunch of side projects. I should be able to check in atleast weekly at this point.

Ah, so instead of writing about smacking demons, you've been out there actually smacking them. I approve.

Just two quick questions, 1: Was the bugs a personal hallucination for Varro or were they really there?
2: Who am I partnered with?

Internet champagne? Glorious. Hopefully that will coax more of the platoon back from their busy real world lives and into GrimDark. It’s only just starting to get weird in here.
That’s no good, what happened to Varro, and I don’t like the sound of that crying any better.
… And, of course, the warp would spit out my last post just as FM posts it himself.
The powers of Chaos Hechmen, we have no control over the vile warped spawned demons and heretics. Sent to merely cause us strife, pain, confusion and delay.

It was a hallucination. You may recall in an earlier post me mentioning that he had a phobia of bugs. You may also recall having heard his final words before, quite recently...
Whoever you like.
Torches off! Don't startle the Witch! :P

Free day, so a quick update.
As you can see, when I said "don't startle the witch" I was being literal.

Oh, I hate witches but at least in L4D I am always the guy with the bloop tube. Now let's just slowly back out of the room, close the door (Maybe even roll in a couple of nades) and get our frakking ****'s out of there.

It's a demon infested ship! Just as Dakkagor said it's better to be safe than sorry! Why do you thing Klemens is festooned in lamps!
I understood that, it just sounded a little to convenient for my taste. Out of the millions upon millions of Astropath's we stumbled upon the sister of one of our NPC characters.
And for some reason seeing a blind person on a demon filled ship reminded me of Sam Neill on Event of Horizon.

so glad I remembered that tidbit before I looked here, as it means that those posts have been remembered somewhere in the grey mass of meat laughably called my brain.

Do you guys mind if I join in? The guard post seems like as good of a place as any for a new character to step in.
If you're too far in and don't want any others, that's fine. Just let me know whenever.
Name: Markus Perth
Rank: Lance Corporal
Age: 22 standard
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 165 pounds
Appearance: Dark brown regulation cut hair with ice blue eyes. His face is usually set in a focused expression, never relaxing his guard and constantly scanning for threats.
Primary weapon: Long-Las Rifle. Due to the slide-lock nature of his rifle Markus can change the barrel of his weapon to better suit his current situation. The nearly meter long sniper barrel can be replaced with a much shorter and more rugged carbine barrel at the cost of range and a slight loss in accuracy.
Secondary weapons: Standard issue laspistol with one extra clip and a combat knife.
Misc: Standard flak vest, fatigues, camo-cloak, backpack, two canteens, a med pack and spare magazines.
Personality: His time on Catachan hardened his once light heart and left him cold, calculating, and possibly a little bit paranoid. Although he rarely speaks, Markus is always thinking, constantly watching every shadow, corner or window for a threat, even when not on a battlefield. On the rare occasion that he does speak, his words are quick, to the point, and spoken in a slight hush.
Bio: (Before I start on this, I wanted to make sure it was alright if he isn't part of the 94th Delphic Triarii. That's probably the easiest way to explain why he wasn't in the briefing room.)
I have to get going , but the main idea is that the person Markus used to be got shattered in an extended training program on Catachan, leaving him cold and near emotionless, what some would call a perfect soldier. The survivors of the Catachan training are used as a special forces team by the PDF, and have been deployed with the 94th Delphic Triarii.
Hi Perth, yes we could potentially fit in another guardsman. It's okay for him to not be from the 94th, as the Seydlitz is carrying several regiments. I'll PM you a cue to post after my next GM update.

Sounds good, I'll get a bio posted up as soon as I can catch a few minutes.
Edit: I can not catch a break... Tomorrow (25th) I'm off work and have a nice clean schedule, so I should be able to get something up by then.
