I have to say LGA, I'm very much enjoying the fear and paranoia you're putting into Klemens' posts. I wonder if he's going to snap, and if so when?![]()

The Mar Sara Incident
Phantom of the Fire
Kind of a short bio, but a certain Lord General has been prodding me to post a char and app for your game..so, here we go! Have a crew application!
Name: Martiya Tellaris
Age: 27
Appearance:
Standing 5'5" and weighing 160lbs (165cm and 73kg), Martiya has dusky skin and a sturdy frame that hints at the woman having been born on a high gravity world. Long red hair is typically pulled back into a braid and coiled into a bun to keep it out of the way though her long, spiky bangs occasionally obscure her stormy grey eyes.
Equipment:
- 36" (19lb) Heavy Industrial Wrench (Improvised Close Combat weapon)
- Shoulder Lamp
- Dirty grease covered fatigues
- Cap with engraved Imperial Aquila
- Toolbelt with assorted spanners, wrenches, screw drivers etc.
- Blessed machine oils and lubricants
- Book of machine rites
Bio: Born on Treyla, Martiya was the only daughter in a slew of sons, all raised learning industrial fabrication and repair. Not content to stay terrestrial, the woman seized a contract at the first possibility to work on the massive labyrinthine ships that traversed the warp.
So, LGA put you up to it, did he? :P Seems okay to me, welcome aboard! Did you have any particular ideas on how you wanted to introduce her to the group?
While I'm here I'd just like to roundly curse you all - not once but twice I was about to post an update and one of you guys got there first, forcing me to make edits :P

Phantom of the Fire
Oh yeah, and if anyone wants to take a look under the armoury door they'll see a number of dead armsmen, each with a large hole in either the side or the back of their head.

Replacement Application (Originally posted a PDF trooper)
Name: Holden "Sledgehammer" Mercurius
Rank: Guardsman/Corporal
Age: 25
Appearance: Holden is a slender human, with an augmetic right arm. He's roughly 6'1" and 180 lbs. He has flat black hair and it's always kept short (Though no one would know seeming he's got his helmet on all the time.) He's got a scar leading past his right lip so that it looks like he's smirking all the time. He has a tattoo of the aquila on his neck. He also has subskin armor. He was burned severely and his muscles were ripped up really bad so they gave him subskin armor.
Equipment: Vox-Legi Pattern Shotgun with red dot sight, sling and exterminator launcher. A bastard sword given to him when he joined the ranks of the Imperial Guard that is now mono-edge. He wears Carapace with a helmet. He also carries a laspistol.
Personality: Holden is usually looked at as a dark man, but whenever he is given an order, he follows it to the upmost efficiency. He's quiet, but determined to always finish the mission.
Bio: Holden is a recently promoted Corporal transferred from the ship "Lance of the Void". He grew up as a hiver, his family being a noble spires servants, mechanics, munitions loaders and bodyguards. His father was the Nobilites Founders bodyguard, whom was recently killed saving said noble. He was offered a job to take it up, or his family would have to leave the noble house. With him and his sister left he decided to go to the Imperial Guard, his sister doing the same thing.

Mr Farseer, can I play?
Yes, you can! Is he from Delphi or is he part of one of the other regiments being carried on the same ship?
The only thing that I'd query is that his previous posting was another ship (Imperial Guard tend to work on the ground - the Navy has its own dedicated marines).
How about you introduce him waiting for the team at the other end of the tanks? Alternatively he could have come to investigate the massive explosion that Lehner just caused. Either way, the only other thing you'll need is a reason why he's wandering around on his own (Lost? Cut off? Knocked unconscious? Squad slaughtered by one of the orbs? I'll let you decide).
I posted but it is still going through the warp. Hooray.
Long story short from Gerald: He listens to Pilgrim’s orders, is even less of a Klemens fan than before, and doesn’t want to bring along Martiya. I can PM people the parts of my post that relate to their characters if they’re interested.
If you’re coming to check on the explosion, trynemyne, you should know that Gerald is covering the pathway that the Triarii came from. So you’ll be staring down an Imperial Guardsman armed with a grenade launcher, and a rather lousy attitude, if/when you make it into this scene.
God's sake, the forum isn't eating posts again? *Rushes to back up the latest bits of the story*
You know what, Hechman, I suggest you just go and make a couple of posts in random threads in the main forum, just so you can get full posting rights. This seems to happen a lot to people who are still rated 'Scout'.

Well, I'd say his squad left him behind because they simply couldn't find him. His photovisors failed, so he has been wandering and finally found the tanks. This is where everyone will meet him.
Sounds good to me. Post away.
And I hope you brought a rebreather.

I'd say he'd have one. Most guardsmen do.
'No, no, ........ cold, so cold ...... please, not them. Those Mechadendrite's, those unnatural replacements, those soulless machines.' He didn't know what he hated worse, the threat plaguing the ship or those red robed freaks.
Please take note, that these lines were thoughts, as evident by the apostrophes.

Ah, an honest mistake. I’ll delete that reference after the next GM post, as any edit I make before then will probably make it disappear.
Could I make a suggestion, though? Italicizing, or even just leaving out the apostrophes, could also indicate internal thought. I presumed that you had meant for Klemens to speak that aloud and had forgotten to change from an apostrophe to a quotation.
The notation I'd suggest to avoid confusion is quotation marks for speech, italics for thoughts and +this for telepathy or other exotic forms of communication+![]()
