I'm really looking forward to Replicants. I really need to think about what kind of character I want to play though. . .

Well, a post-Pembroke Kally Sonder is a possibility (I'd even encourage it).
I will of course post a notification and a link here on Warseer when the recruitment thread goes up.

Yep once again an excellent game.
Survivor of The Ways of the Cult - Inquisitor
I suppose post Pembroke, pre Wash would make sense, but it limits the characters development in the story.
:she can't die.
:she can't be injured seriously (Then again, Imperial medical technology, especially available to Sidonis, would allow flawless limb regrowth and replacement.)
but still, awful tempting to get to play on of my favourite characters. .
Edit: though it could be used as a way of explaining where Kally's later stimm addiction came in. . . .maybe this is the mission that pushed her to stimm abuse. . .

Thank you LGA. I hope to see you over on RPA once I get Replicants started.
From a timeline perspective, Replicants will be set maybe 6 months after Pembroke, when the Makita crew are just finding their feet in Sidonis' retinue, and a long time before Wash.
I have noticed that you have a marked tendency to kill off your characters at the end of my RPs! :P Which is odd because I've never made killing (non-inactive) characters a storytelling priority, and I haven't yet had to punish a character for gross stupidity. That said, I must admit that Kade and Lehner's deaths in the right time and place enhanced their respective stories beautifully.
Please do. I don't mind telling you that Replicants will be featuring Marc and Kelly (it will be interesting trying to juggle their character development with the driving of the story).
Serious injury would certainly push her towards stimm-addiction and a mentality that she can't "cut it" without them, as would the rather brutal storyline I have in mind...
Did I mention that there will be sequel potential (which other players are welcome to help plan or take the GM role for)? But more on that later, much further down the line.

I've never been afraid of character death as a way to, ironically enough, advance the characters story or bring it to an end. Especially in the grim dark of the far future, very few stories have a happy ending, and for some characters its very natural for them to die, or not see the end of the tale. Consider it a compliment to your awesome STing skills that I'm happy to sacrifice characters to the story. Kally is a bit different, something of a hard bitten survivor, and I've grown really fond of her, so hopefully she will survive a while longer, but I have a couple of ideas for how she might die, that would fit her story and development as a character.

Like what (if you don't mind me asking)? As I may have mentioned to you before, if Marc dies it'll probably be some sort of mutual KO with our old friend Arcolin, or else by becoming the very thing he hates - probably involving his loyalty to people above principles, his innate ruthless streak, and the death or absence of the people who usually serve as his moral anchors.

Mostly it centres on the lack of self worth she has as a character, and sacrificing herself either for some higher purpose (maybe one that's already failed/about to fail) or offering herself instead of someone else she cares about, but who may not actually like her over much.
In my mind, because of the difficulties blanks have in forming relationships, they tend to have low self esteem but become very self reliant, (look at Jurgen or Bequin, especially Bequin) so they either shut themselves off completely (Wystan Frauka), or, If someone manages to break through the aura and self raised barriers to reach them emotionally, I would imagine they would follow that person into hell and back (Jurgen, and later Kally with Marc).
Just my feelings on the matter, could be talking waffly nonsense!
