After my daughter accidentally totalled my Armorcast Reaver titan I went looking for replacement parts. Of course, those are EXTREMELY hard to find these days. So, I decided to instead scuplt new parts to replace the parts I needed. I then made a silicone mold of these parts and casted them in resin.
I think that since I all read have the molds for these parts I will sculpt up the other parts to make a whole titan.
Anyways, what do you all think of this slight redesign so far?

Very nice but I didn't like the toes so much, I think they're a little short in lenght and tall in height, and they lacks mechanical parts (or at least it seems, the pic is small)...the first epic scale models of the reaver titan has nice "avian" feet with three toes on front like yours but more stretched, maybe you can do something similar?
I like the feet redesign. You said you're going to sculpt an entire reaver?

Woork has kept me from this project for a while, but I am slowly making progress on getting an ENTIRE titan sculpted.
Since I have plenty of left-over Armorcast weapons the only carapace weapon I will make will probably be the Vortex missile. Would people prefer to see an exposed missle (like the Deathstrike missile launcher) or a larger firing tube with just the missile's warhead sticking out (RPG style)?
As for the arms I will definatley be making a Gatling blaster, and volcano cannon. Possibly some kind of close combat weapon, maybe a giant chainsaw perhaps?
Also, I am working out the carapace design. For a model that is inspired by the armorcast model, would people prefer something that looks like the armorcast reaver's carapace, or something that looks a little more like the Forgeworld Reaver with the powerplants hanging off the back?

As for a titan ccw, how about about something like this http://www.craftworldgames.co.uk/p/p...S+WH+EPIC+40k/? Something else you could do of course is the chainsword ccw which there are ample examples of. Something you could do is a more chaosy powerclaw.
Sorry about the delayed update. Life and work got in the way. Here is where I am with the body, head and should pads. I am kind of cheating with the first Reaver I make, as I has a spare set of armorcast hips/upper legs. I put a Powerfist on him to give some scale. The torso is NOT connected to the legs at this point thus the slight tilting and the necessity to prop up the powerfist with a sea shell.
I also have some weapons partially done.
After looking at the picture I am a tad disappointed. I chose the worste casting of the torso to take a picture of. The others look mush cleaner.
