So i have benn kinda distant latley cause of life getting in the way now I am back... and i came up with an idea for a tournement i wanna hold.
After visiting a ful contact jousting event (if u get the chance to go you should) and watching some tv shows about jousting I am kinda loving it in a brutal way. So my idea is for every player to build a character for about 200 points who is either cavlarie or monsterous cav. and then stick em in one on one combat with following modifications
1) there will be 8 rounds of combat signifing the 8 passes in a joust
2) I roll all the hits and take only the highst to hit and to wound (see rule 3 )
3) a hit but no wound is 1 point
a hit followed by a sucessful to wound is 3 points
a hit followed by a 6 on the wound is 5 points
and ultimatly taking your opponent to 0 wounds counts as an unhoursing and is worth 10 points (after which i roll a die and on a 1 the opponent is auto eliminated)
So what does everybody think? intressted in taking part in this event?
