So pretty much out of the blue - at least to me - came the new expansion for Mount&Blade: Warband. It's about the Napoleonic Wars which I know has a grande armée of fans and honestly it looks very, very good.
Anyone played it yet? I have to admit that I uninstalled all Mount&Blade games from my PC because I spent way too much time playing them but this DLC looks really tempting...
I might play it. I recently got it after seeing Robbaz play it on youtube.

I doubt you'll be able to do it through steam.
Hopefully a move back towards Warbands with this installment. Fire & Sword wasted far too much of my time - I honestly thought if I keep on going I will eventually get the quest to progress the game....it never came.

Haha, yes, Fire and Sword had a cool setting but it was slow and I had problems establishing myself between the powerful blocs. F&S was basically a M&B mod rather than a Warband one as well if I remember correctly. One thing I loved about Fire and Sword though (apart from the big fancy hats) - you didn't have to drive cattle but it just followed you. They implemented that way of getting cows from A to B in other mods as well lateron and I love them for that. In M&B and Warband, driving cattle easily is the most frustrating part.
I love it. Brilliant piece of DLC and well worth the price of admission. It came out of the blue for me as well.
