The obsidian armour available to Khorne daemon characters makes them immune to magical weapons. Does this also include magical attacks? i.e. a troll can attack with his weapons (teeth and claws) or vomit (a magical attack), does the obsidian armour work against the vomit even though the troll isn't using his weapon?

No. The Obsidian armour does not make the wearer immune to magical weapons. It only negates the magical effects of weapons carried by models in base contact with the wearer.
If a magic weapon has the Poison Attacks special rule, then the Obisidian Armour would negate that rule. It would not negate the "getting killed by it" function of the weapon.

It turns a magical hand weapon into a hand weapon. It turns a magical spear/great weapon into a spear/great weapon. It does not negate any other sort of attacks (I.E. Vomit) nor does it prevent you from being killed by hand weapons that used to be magical hand weapons.

And since when is troll vomit magical? Disgusting yes....magical no....
There might be weird kinds of troll out there with magic vomit, you never know. Heck, imagine if a troll subspecies went down a path parallel to Stone Trolls only instead of granite they ate warpstone?
Actually, forget imagining, imma call Warhammer Forge and suggest Warptrolls for MA2….

I am fairly sure that the troll vomit of Chaos Trolls and Throgg is considered a magical attack. Don't have my army book with me but that sure sounds correct.
Various spells and mystical terrain allows units Magical Attacks. Imagine a Troll with Flaming Magical vomit.

That's easy, just feed them a couple of Magmaloos* before the battle.
* Like Vindaloo, only with molten rock and naga peppers. The peppers are still the hottest part.
Ok cheers guys, I don't feel so bad about throwing up on his herald now (not literally!).
Also, to confirm, Throgg and Chaos Troll's vomit is magical according to their army book entries. I'm not sure about their counterparts in other army books.

Troll vomit is indead magical in the rules for them, but it does not matter in the context of this question. Obsidian armor just makes magical and runic weapons operate like a mundane version of the same item. Anything with innate magical attacks (Troll Vomit, any mele from Daemons, ect) is not affected in any manner.
