Virtue of the Ideal

Virtue of the Ideal is a very characterful Virtue (massive stat bonuses, but everyone hates him. Why? Your choice...) Has anyone had any success with it?

I've often thought about putting a Bret Lord with this virtue on a Royal pegasus, or hippogryph- but then you have to have another model be your general which makes for a lot of points in lord level characters-

But, anyway, it might be fun to run this with the crown of command, or the HKB lance, or possibly the sword of anti-heroes (you pick the right unit and buff him with savage beast, and he won't need the support of a unit)- don't know how competitive it would be- he would be quite the monster/enemy leader killer-

There's a lance (Lance of Artois) that gives regular killing blow, but HKB is from another Virtue, so can't be stacked with the VoI. You can definitely kit out a good character assassin with VoI and the Lance or Artois, but Lord point scarcity makes it probably not the best choice.

I'm with Malorian, Silver Lance plus Virtue of the ideal on a pegasus Lord is pretty nifty. Good Character and monster hunter.

Alternatively, if you put it on a Paladin you have more or less, Lord like Stats. I'm going to try that for once.
