Pendrakens not that bad , I mean the veichles are pretty crappy but other then that they are ok for their price.

The old Traveller range was 15mm wasn't it? That predates all of those ranges.

Argh! out-old-farted. I concede, sir. Clearly, as with other fashions, the "weird new scale" is a cyclical thing.

I am absolutely stoked for these model and rules. This will be my first non 28 mm wargame and i'm excited for both the models quality and the larger scale actions a smaller scale model base can perform. This is the first wargame I have ever looked at and immediately been fascinated by each factions style. As far as I am concerned june first cannot get here fast enough!

I dont quite know why the minis and the aesthetic has griped me, quite so much as it has, but at the moment I'm chomping at the bit for it . . . I only hope I dont end up being disappointed.

Rules, schmules. I'm buying the miniatures no matter what. I've already got three different sets of rules I can use them with.

What rules do you have in mind? I'm loving the minis, but I'm not overly familiar with rulesets that could utilize them.

I plan to use the Post-Human Republic vehicles as 28mm combat drones. There's the Janus as a scout robot, the Enyo as a combat robot, the Athena as a UAV and maybe a Taranas sans launcher as a mule.

Dirtside II and Future War Commander spring immediately to mind. Tomorrow's War might be suitable too, with some tweaking, as would Epic Armaggeddon.

Excited to see that the Warstore has a section set up for this game seeing as I have no LGS's around my neck of the woods. Also yeah I could see using the minis for tomorrow's war if the parent rule set is lacking.

I'll wait and see what the rules are like.
The models look nice, but there's loads of companies making nice models.
If the game is nice and smooth I'll maybe invest in it.
Until then I'll just keep an eye on developments.

So far everything I am seeing is excellent, with the exception of the infantry (I really hoped the Tribes would be Vorlon-like and the Scourge be matrix-sentinel type things), but I will probably invest in this game - I've already got another mate who is loving this stuff too, so I've already got someone I can play it with. I'll probably collect the Scourge but swap out the infantry for something else (that is, if you need infantry at all, if not ill just pass). Overall though, I think it has a very strong appeal and strong design to it all - reminiscent of RTS computer games (this I think gives the game a very "modern" look to it). I wonder if this game will be quite big - it has a lot of commercial potential IMO - anyone agree?

Yeah I agree, seems to be gaining a lot of interest and well deserved, the models just get better and better.

I think 10mm is awesome! It lets you have huge battles with miniatures of decent detail.

I even like the infantry. Hooboy. Really looking forward to this now. Anyone got more pics? Or an idea when it's released? (The internet filters at work are very strict).

With the current trend for the skirmish style game (WarmaHordes, Malifaux, Bushido), I for one am looking forward to playing something with a greater sense of scale.

That's really going to be the make or break point - at least one of those items has to be excellent. The pricing, I'd argue, is a bit more important, as others have mentioned plenty of uses for the models.

I'm hoping it doesn't end up stillborn - but I'm just watching for now.

As soon as someone sees the pricing/rules info, post it please
