Settra and ranking up Chariot Units

Hey all, had a couple of quick questions about Settra and sticking him in a unit of Tomb King chariots. First off: The Chariot of The Gods is a scythed chariot (so it won't rank up nicely anyway) with 4 steeds. Am I correct in thinking that this makes Settra take up 2 spaces in a rank (as the 2 extra horses take up the same space as 1 chariot would occupy)?

And if so, question 2: Am I allowed to rank them 3 wide (as chariots can rank in 3s rather than 5s), but Settra goes in the front, so there's only him and 1 other chariot in the front rank due to space concerns, with 3 in the subsequent ranks; or must I have 3 actual chariots in the front rank (including Settra) so it in fact takes up the frontage of 4 chariots, and then 3 in each subsequent rank; or, since the front rank is compelled to be effectively 4 chariots wide, must the remaining ranks have 4 chariots in them?

This is covered in the rules for Characters in the section about "incompatible base footprints".

Either Settra and his chariot takes up the exact sames space as one or more chariots and you can put him in the unit (count those positions as filled as far as ranks and frontage is concerned) or his base size doesn't fit and you have to place him to the left or right of the front rank.

Yes, Settra takes up the equivalent space of 2 chariots because of the additional horses at the front, which means you can have a frontage 3 unit with only settra and one other chariot in the front rank. However be slightly careful which command options you pick for your chariot unit of you might end up forcing his majesty into the back rank.

IMHO you only want a standard bearer in his unit anyway so it shouldnt be a problem.

Settra and champion all the wounds made to the champion dont pass to others models. Very nice
