    [Tyranids][2000]

    40K Army: Tyranids
I've been thinking about getting Tyranids and I'm wondering how this list looks:

    Tyranids
Hive Tyrant - 2 Scything Talons, Wings, Adrenal Glands
Prime - 2 Bone Swords, Deathspitter
    2 Hive Guard
    2 Hive Guard
    2 Hive Guard
    5 Warriors - Deathspitters
    12 Genestealers
Tervigon - Adrenal Glands, Toxin Sacs, Catalyst
Tervigon - Adrenal Glands, Toxin Sacs, Catalyst
    10 Termagants
    10 Termagants
15 Gargoyles - Adrenal Glands, Toxin Sacs
15 Gargoyles - Adrenal Glands, Toxin Sacs
    Trygon
    Total - 1918

    Still some points to spare.

    Suggestions?

Definitely give the Trygon adrenal glands. S7 makes a big difference for ripping tanks open (I5 doesn't hurt either).

Genestealers need toxin sacs. Seriously. Massively improves rending/damage.

Tyrant with Old Adversary is a huge damage boost, for himself and others around him. If you're using (lots of) reserves, consider hive commander.

Hell, Warriors are improved by toxin sacs too. Not strictly necessary, but is tasty if you have some spare points.

You could also consider upgrading the Trygon to prime. Depending on whether you're having the Tyrant deepstrike (assuming not, with the gargoyles), you're actually kinda low on synapse. Or more accurately, on synapse that is designed to go forwards.

Not a bad list overall, by the way. Nids have... issues, but at least you're taking the right units.

So there isn't anything in particular you would swap?
