    converting huron's claw.

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has a tutorial of how to convert huron's lightning claw so that it could be used as the other hand, as a pair? thanks.

You talking about the forgeworld huron or the GW huron blackheart models? If the former, it might be very difficult. The FW model's powerclaw is sculpted as a gauntlet that slots over his normal arm. As such his wrist and fist are visible, manipulating the claws mechanism. To do and alt hand would meandering filling in or resculpting the gap where his hand is visible.

For the chaos version, I suppose it'd require trimming off the talons and swapping them over. Might require a bit if sculpting to ballance it.

Reversing the hand of a claw, especially to match the same claw in the other hand, would be very difficult. If you want a pair of matched claws, you'd be better off buying/converting new claws.

I've done exactly this conversion. It's not easy; you need to sculpt the claw on the other side, you can't just pull it off and reverse it.

The trick is to build lateral blocks for the claws to rest on, everthing else is just layers of greenstuff. I'd advise making the fingers and thumb separate parts and gluing them on, that's what I did. Also be aware you need to shave back the arm A LOT. I didn't quite take it back far enough, and the armour around the resculpted claw is a bit chunky as a result. Also pay attention to the size of the lateral mounting blocks for the claws, I tried to shortcut and use some micro strip I had lying around - still a bit on the chunky side. Came out alright in the end, I'd advise having a couple of goes to practice first. This was a job, so not much chance of that time wise for me. Next time, Gadget, as the saying goes...
