Very nice artwork, and let us hope the book rectifies some of the changes the Nagash series brought about.

And then in response to my questions:Neferata is in the second book, sure. It's not from her POV, however. All four of the major 'ancient' bloodlines are in and will be in each book, albeit to varying degrees. And each book will be from the POV of a Master Vampire, with all of the perspective quirks that that entails, and will carry the overall story forward. Said story being, if you want a hint, the biggest event happening on the Vampire Counts timeline around the point and time that Neferata does the throwdown boogie on the Silver Pinnacle.
As I said earlier in this thread, the series is basically a bridge between Mike Lee's Nagash books and Graham McNeill's Sigmar books.

If each book is told from the perspective of a master vampire, Neferata for the first, and then one of the others for the other two, then does that mean that this is very much a trilogy about the Vampire Bloodlines as they were set in motion by Neferata rather than Neferata being the main character as was the case with Sigmar/Nagash novels. So, more like how the Sundering novels are - telling the events from different characters with a progressive narrative?

Yep. That's it exactly...same events and the books overlap a bit, with each book pushing the story forward by a few centuries.

Hope it makes up for the abomination that was the Nagash saga.
Prefer the first one cos the headgear looks like something I'd imagine Neferata would wear (the 2nd one I'd imagine Hellebron wearing)
