I'm interested to try out KoW with my gaming group and as I'm building Beastmen now I was wondering if anyone has tried making an KoW armylist for them?

I haven't seen one but you could use the orc list since KoW fill a very similar role to WH beastmen. It shouldn't be too hard to find appropriate profiles for beastmen units.
I can't remember if I've got the beastman codex or not. If I have I'll have a go at converting it. A few people have asked.
It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye... and then it's just fun!

Support the Mantic Deadzone Campaign
This is something I've tinkered with on a very basic level.
I once came up with some unit names for a beastmen list to make them less "warhammer" and more suited to the KoW setting/ generic mythology setting, while still providing a unit entry to match everything in the GW model range.
Here they are if anyone wants to use them, I didn't get any further than typing the following into a text file one evening:
Beastfolk Army List
Heroes:
Satyr Chief
Satyr Shaman
Units:
Satyrs (gors)
Longhorns (bestigors)
Fauns (ungors)
Faun Archers
Harpies
Minotaurs
Centaurs (centigors)
Chariots
Boarbeasts (pumbagors)
Boarbeast Chariots
Hounds
Monsters:
Jabberwocky
Mountain Giant
Cyclops
In addition, I also think it would be a good idea to add back the entries for Ogres, Trolls, Dragon Ogres and Shaggoths from the WoC list, most beastmen players had those models in their armies before the 7th edition book removed them, so it would be good to allow them to use their models in KoW.

If you play any of Mantic's games, check out my Battlescribe project for KoW and Warpath.
I second that. The orc army list pretty much has all you need:
Wargor = Krudger
Shaman = Wip
Chariots = Chariots
Gors/Ungors with melee weapons = Axes
Bestigors = Great Axes
Ungors with bows = Sniffs
Minotaurs = Bogies
Centigors = Gore Riders
All of them big gribblies = Big Bogie
In fact, using the alliance rules and a bit of imagination you can field any Warhammer army with the Kings of War army lists without the need for a custom fan-made list.
