No it's not as much stuff. But I'm sure Ronnie made some comment around Christmas time that the old amount was just ludicrous.

You do get a much more interesting mix in this one. I know some of the later christmas bags had elven war machines, but this one has elf and dwarf war machines, and overall a better mix of things. Less of an army builder base for undead and elves with a few extras, and more of a survey of the range.

ok i ordered 2 bundles and got:

So a nice big bundle of plastic, those keeping track tho will notice thats only 39 sprues, going off what doesnt divide by 2 and what others have reported I'm light 1 zombie sprue which is a shame as they were what I was most interested in. Also I expected 2 of the veer-meen which they promised for the delay, they obviously meant per order not per bundle - these were ordered for myself and a friend so I'll snaffle it and keep quiet.

Well, it has ben a loooonnnggg time coming (not Mantics fault!), but I finally recieved my Christmas crazy bag this week. A combination of moving house and country meant it had to be delivered to my parents and they finally managed to bring it over to Switzerland a few days ago.

2 x Elf Bolt throwers + 2 sets of crew.
2 x skeleton sprues (20 models)
2 x Revenent sprues (20 models)
1 x ghoul sprue (2 models)
2 x Elf sprues (20 models)
2 x Elf command sprues (20 models)
2 x Dwarf sprues (one with dog) for 2 handed weapons (10 models)
3 x Iron Watch sprues (6 models)
3 x Orc warrior sprues (9 models)
3 x Orc great ax sprues (6 models)
1 x orc accessory sprue.

Total (inc warmachines) = 115 models.

Very happy (even more so as I guessed correctly the bases I would need to order with it).
I was also pleasently suprised by how much better the elves and dwarves look in "the flesh" and they have essentially convinced me to sell up my GW dwarfs once I have enough of the Mantic ones to take over. The elves look a bit more of a challenge to paint as they are really finely detailed, with many more details than I had originally thought - In my hands the helmets look a lot less phalic and the spears a lot thinner than the pictures I have seen suggest. The undead are excellent (I already have a large collection of Mantic undead) so no suprises there. The orcs are exactly as I hoped after seeing their pics on the internet - reminiscent of early 90's GW (IMO how orcs should look). The bag is pretty neat too. Big thumbs up all round.

They are very detailed models.

Yeah the elves are completely under-rated. I got some in my Christmas bag, fell in love with them and went and got 2000 points worth a few weeks later. Mantic have managed to make them look really slender and graceful.
