East Devon Gaming Club
Hey all,
I'm looking to start up a new gaming club in Honiton in East Devon (South West United Kingdom). If you live in the area and would be interested in taking part please let me know! I know it is unlikely that I'll recruit many new members from this sparsely populated, heavily wooded neck of the world but lets give it a shot.
Cheers,

Re: East Devon Gaming Club
Their use to be a club in Honiton, no idea if it still exists use to be in the scouts hall every other week I think, so looking in to that could get some more feet on the ground. Devon is an unforgiving land for wargamer it has to be said, and I am sure Exeter has a club thats only a little train journey away.

Yeah the Honiton club seems to have closed down a while ago, only thing about Exeter is its 20 miles each way to drive and the train costs nearly £7! So not as convenient anymore on a weekly basis, got one person interested in Honiton club so far... waiting to see about more.

Re: East Devon Gaming Club
I had a feeling it had died, pity really, I went once or twice. I never realized it cost that much
yes for some strange reason this lovely part of england is rather barren of wargamers. I am not really sure what to suggest, I dont live that close to honiton either, rallying the troops is the best way to go methinks.

Thread Necromancy.
I'll be driving around to the scout hall tomorrow at approx 7.30pm to see once and for all if the Honiton Wargaming Club is still active. My business www.greendragongames.co.uk is thriving elsewhere in Devon and its only a matter of time. If the club is non-existant, I'll be setting one up in one of 3 venues in Honiton as well as one in Lympstone.
