40k player new to fantasy starting WoC advice please.

Hi all. As it says on the tin realy. I have 2x of the battalion sets and a sorcerer.
What else do i need to look at?
How should i arm my warriors/ marauders?
I am in the process of going through the tactica thread but it is a long one so taking ages. Any direct advice much appreciated. Ta.

You could arm your warriors with halberds and shields if you play them with the mark of Nurgle, if you play them with the mark of Khorne, arm them with the two single hand weapons. I haven't ever seen them played or played myself with the other two marks or undivided, so I don't know how you can set them

Anything with nurgle.
Anything not shields with Khorne (although buying shields for the +1AS vs shooting tends to be worth it)

I use Warriors with MoT and Halberds.
But they use the banner of rage so meh

Since you're a 40k player I'm gonna assume you're already familiar with the basic principles of Chaos (Khorne is god of war etc). I just want to ask you what you feel your playstyle is ? You have two battalion boxed sets and a sorcerer, is there anything at all that appeals to you? Would you like to add more cavalry, infantry, monsters (and so on). It's hard for us to give you advice unless we know what way you want to play your army.

Just as general advice I'd say that infantry (marauders, and chaos warriors) heavy armies are really good for WoC, so in expanding your army you might want to add more of both.

Thanks for the advice so far guys. I am pretty happy with the balance of troopers to cavalry provided by the boxed set but like idea of a few large blocks of infantry backed up with 1 or 2 other units. So i would probably be adding more troops to that mix and not necessarily using all the knights.
What do you rekon to a unit of 24the woc backed up by 2 40ish strong units of maruders then a couple of support units and the knights.
probably want to steer clear of monsters realy. Want a very human looking force (as far as that goes with chaos )
