One of my opponents has the Bolt Action rules too. He is starting to assemble his armies. I just wish I still had my old, OLD tanks and vehicles.....Got a good tank model for ONE dollar and ninety eight cents.....Plastic at that price.

Well it's been a while since i updated but i have been busy i did paint some bits up for my americans last year just never bothered taking pictures of them.
At my local club a few of the lads have started late war in true fashion i didn't mold my americans to late war i just started new and went with germans. So i went haf on the open fire box set and bought a few other bits which i will add later. but for the time beign some mid war americans and some off the starter set.

    m7 priests

all off my m4a1 shermans. command and two units off four

    m10 tank destroyers

    some late war para troopers

and last but no means least my grenadiers

i have two king tigers one jag tiger two sturm tigers 5 panther gs 3 stug gs and two pak40s to go i also have some american pioneers but they'll be a while not in the mood for any more infantry

I like the Mid-war stuff. Nice and clean looking. The bases are fun too.

Have you thought about using your 15mm for Bolt Action?

Everyone and their uncle seems to do Late-War. Whenever I see WWII it is late war stuff. It's starting to feel a bit like Space Marines in 40K! [/rant]

Yeah, I've also grown very, very tired of late war stuffs since a few years. Made me turn my back to WW2 as a whole pretty much. But I think that late war Wehrmacht (especially SS of course) has always been the Space Marines equivalent in terms of popularity.

Very nice stuff again. The basing on the US fellas still is a highlight to me. Very inspiring.

    Re: bashers historical stuff

yeh every one dose late war because of the big guns and tank battles which in my mind takes a bit of the stratgey out off the game.

Easy e: i have some 28mm 101st airbourne for bolt action.4 10man units three mgms 3 bazookas plus command and odds and ends there all cleaned and under coated except the 76mm sherman (which i only got because one of my mates who playes brits will always try and fit in a fireflyand my other mate has a panther g) the 57mm anti tank gun and 75mm howitzer which i have no idea how to put together.

thanks sigur always nice to get a complment for a man of skill
