If only because of three of the four names behind the rules.

Rick Priestley, Alessio Cavatore, and Andy Chambers. With those sort of names behind it, I'm willing to give it a glance.

Hmmm.. Sounds very cool actually. The names behind it are good, as you pointed out, and the bumf about the game sounds VERY old school GW; a bit tongue in cheek, and very gamer friendly. Colour me interested!

I'm excited for this system as well ... they actually encourage using any miniatures of your choosing. You apply stats of your choice (with cost of course) from the rulebook and suddenly you have complete creative poetic license. That's awesome.
The Otherworld miniatures they partner with an old-school D&D feel. check out this Bugbear warband posted recently on the Alien Dungeons forum:

I picked up a beautiful older Rackham model; I can finally field it fully supported.
As for mixing genres, I love the possibilities for warband creation. With a little perusal of the fluff it makes sense.

Warhammer 40K is like LSD to me:
It's expensive, it lasts too long, it makes my head hurt, but damn I love the visuals.
It's got ****-flinging flying monkeys. This is apparently a selling point to some people.
Alessio's work always feels unfinished to me - hopefully Rick and Andy keep the overall project from feeling like a WIP when it's on store shelves.
Honestly it doesn't sound that interesting - at least to the point where people are going to grab it and run with it. A lot of sounds like it's trying to be original for originality's sake...that's usually a death sentence or the start of gathering a cult following. We'll see where this one ends up...
Which of his stuff feels unfinished to you?
Has anyone seen the MSRP?
BIG fan of the names involved in this project. The images aren't very flattering though.
Seems to me to be a bit unfocused. Mixing genres is always a bit iffy, especially if you're going to try mixing a lot of genres together.
This one isn't catching my interest.
Sounds fun enough.
I love Eureka Miniatures (well, I'm Victorian, too!) and have had good experiences with them, and love the oddball releases they make. Somehow I ended up getting some of the rifle armed frogs and teddy bear rocking horse cavalry while ordering some of the more serious models for WHFB
The cover art and preview artwork make me want to stab at my eyes, sadly.

So what's the fourth faction besides flying monkeys, cool "indian" centaurs and fae?
Flesh-eating creeps?
pretty much, yes!

On the four warbands:
Fae: I think the Brownie cavalry are great. The treemen are ugly. The Satyrs are average.
Centaurs: Could be good, but nothing to write home about when done in metal.
****-Flinging Flying Monkeys: Hate the concept.
Creeps: Hate the look.
Looks like they've got a Kickstarter...

'Course they do, it's almost over, too. I'm surprised, surely a name like Rick Priestly alone should have gotten people to at least mention it.
I'd love to support something involving so many awesome people, and I like a game with the emphasis on "fun!", but the production values are more than enough to put me off! As said, I quite like Eureka miniatures, and was excited when I saw Tony Ackland's name, but nothing I've seen interests me, sadly. I guess I'll

The Alien Dungeons folks were set up at a store grand opening I went to yesterday and had the models and terrain there. I actually liked the models. I had already backed the Kickstarter and was glad to see it was the right choice for me.
Honestly... Even if it had 20 hot shot names behind it... It still looks pretty terrible in my opinion. Flying monkeys and running eyeballs in a world or dimension or whatever with such a lacklustre name.
It feels like these guys came together and said "Hey, let's create THE most terrible game we can imagine, and see if people like it."
Now, on the other hand, the notion of creating your own warbands with stats and all and pay for those stats... that's something completely different. That of course is awesome, because it lets you create your own world. But the basic background material is pretty much the most terrible thing I have ever seen.
But that's just me. But no, every time I see some new information up on TGN, I get ready to face slap again, because every time it looks ridiculous, to me.

Gotta say the miniatures look really bad, like from a scrub 80s mini company bad.
Sons of Fenris they are, hardened in the forge of their harsh world, eager for battle and honour. The grey warriors, ashen like the wolf, whose greatest joy is to hear the clamour of steel amidst the din of war. None can step before them, they are the first, proud in their strength and jealous of their renown. Through the storms of the warp they come, upon the very tides of terror, but of such dangers they are uncaring. They are the Space Wolves, the Undefeated, the bane of the Emperors foes.
Going to be completely honest, they look awful. Not something I'd ever consider getting
Wow...that's got to be the worst performance I've seen out of a miniature games kickstarter.
Though I expected as much given the rundown of the game and the awful miniatures.
I mean, good on them for raising their goal, but I don't see this ever taking off.
