    Hey, I'm not doing anything naughty. I'm a sensible, contributing citizen with no extreme views about anything outside the socially accepted norms. Give me those cookies. Hold that data. I put my trust in spam filters.

    The only thing that's changed is that now GW are telling you what they do. Note that every other website run by an EU-based business should be doing the same thing. GW aren't magically collecting more information on you today than they did three weeks ago.

    Absolutely, they're not doing anything new, just telling you more about it with this EU legislation in place. They need to do this before a deadline at the end of May, was May 2011 but shifted to May 2012.

    At risk of sounding like an apologist, the privacy policy is actually one of the clearest I've seen. Thumbs up here.
