    Free wheel.

    Ok I need some help.
When you charge you get a free wheel.
Are you allowed only to use it before you move the unit.
Or can you move the unit say 5" then wheel?
Becuse if I can move the unit before, I will have easyer to get the charge.
And in the BRB the diagram only show the wheel at the start, before moving the unit.
    So please help.

The free wheel is to help maximize models in combat. No more 'sliding' to maximize, though reforms are still possible between rounds of combat.

Just to be clear here, there are two wheels. One that you can make at any time along the charge, and one that you "close the door" with when you have made contact.

So you can effectively charge round corners?
If you can't kill 5+ skaven per turn with chaos warriors you need new dice.

Never argue with an idiot, they will only reduce you to their level, and then proceed to beat you with experience

There's actually some really funny things that can happen with charging and the free wheel when obstacles come into play, once you roll the distance measured you then have unlimited move to try and reach the charged unit. If you have a unit of goblins that's 5 wide and 2000 deep and your unit is just in its flank arc from the front you can declare a charge, meet the result, then charge all the way to the very end of the unit even though that would be several feet away.

If you deploy 10000 goblins, it would be silly to not go for horde

Why not go 100 wide so no one could even get to your flank?!

    Re: Free wheel.

You get 1 free wheel not a reform. The opponent may have to close the door, but you can't have any terrain blocking the charge. In the goblin case you may need to move forward into contact and have the opponent close the door!
